Romain Zago made a name for himself as Joanna Krupa's fiancé on The Real Housewives of Miami seasons 2 and 3. The couple was often caught bickering about their relationship or complaining about Joanna's younger sister, Marta, who lived with them. Even though Romain and Joanna would fight on a constant basis, they always had a deep love for each other. No matter what obstacles came their way, they seemed to overcome them.

When he and his model fiancé joined the cast of the Bravo reality series, the pair seemed like the perfect power couple. However, early on into season 2, viewers started to notice how toxic their relationship was. Joanna would complain about Romain working too much, and he'd complain about the same issue. While they got married in the end, the marriage did not last long.

Joanna and Romain Got Married After RHOM Season 3

Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago sit closely together after their wedding ceremony.

Shortly after The Real Housewives of Miami season 3 completed filming in 2013, Romain and Joanna tied the knot at a romantic ceremony in Park Hyatt Aviara resort in San Diego. After less than four years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce, which was finalized within weeks. After RHOM season 3, Joanna was then happily married to Douglas Nunes, and they welcomed their first child in 2019. Unfortunately, Joanna and Douglas filed for divorce in March 2023.

Romain Tries Marriage Again After RHOM

Romain moved on from their relationship just as quickly. In 2019, in a now-deleted post, the nightclub owner shared on Instagram that he was engaged to his girlfriend of a little over a year, Carolina Delgado. He proposed in an unconventional way by tricking Carolina into thinking that they were getting pulled over by the police. Romain is still the owner of Mynt Lounge, which was featured on RHOM season 2. His business has since branched off into a restaurant called Myn-Tu.

Less than a year after Romain popped the question, he and Carolina tied the knot. They married in February 2020 and went to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon, according to Carolina's Instagram. However, their marriage only lasted a little over a year. As Page Six reported, the couple went their separate ways. Carolina told the publication, "We are soul mates meant to be best friends." She then added, "We get [along] way better this way. We see each other every time he is in Miami." The breakup of their marriage had a lot to do with them having a long-distance relationship.

Romain was easily able to move on from Joanna following their divorce in 2017. He quickly fell in love with Carolina and the pair were married less than a year after their engagement. Even though the marriage did not last, they seem to be on great terms with each other. Carolina had nothing but nice things to say about her ex, and she is hopeful that the pair will maintain a friendship. Alas, Romain is still the same workaholic he was when he was on RHOM.
