The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Meghan King Edmonds’ husband is "fighting back" against cheating rumors. Meghan's husband, Jim Edmonds, steadfastly denies the ugly rumors that are being spread over social media and has been trying to tell his truth about the situation.
When Meghan King Edmonds first made her debut back on The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2015 on the 10th season of the hit show, she was not a fan favorite due to her acquired personality. She left the franchise after season 12. King Edmonds married Jim Edmonds in October of 2014 and has three young children, daughter, Aspen, and twin boys, Hart, and Hayes. Back in June, the couple nearly split after Meghan found out that Jim had engaged in sexting with another woman. The two were in working through their issues in counseling. Meghan revealed in October that she and her husband of five years have called it quits in a lengthy interview detailing what she calls was an abusive and controlling relationship. After alleging that she had proof of her husband having an affair with their children's nanny, she claims he blindsided her by serving her with divorce papers.
Recently, People reported that the ex-baseball player decided to fight back against his wife’s allegations. Edmonds adamantly denied the allegations in his own statement on Monday on his Instagram. He said, "It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people." The former MLB player addressed the cheating allegations head-on, writing, "I did not sleep with our nanny. She’s not just a nanny, she is someone that we brought into our house and promised to protect and look after while she was in our home. We have been treating and raising this young girl like she is our own child!" He called the allegations, "disgusting and irresponsible."
The retired MLB star added, "Just because I am an athlete and I was portrayed as a bad person on Bravo TV. Doesn’t mean I dont have a clue what life is all about. We made a promise to that young girls mom, that We would take care of her and make sure that she was safe while she was in our hands." The 42-year-old said, "I will not sit here and take this bullsh*t without fighting back." He then called out his wife, Meghan for making allegations via Instagram, saying, "Just because you’re extremely whitty and intelligent, and know how to play the Instagram game. Doesn’t give you the right to use that platform to wrongfully accuse."
The nanny, Carly Wilson, has also went to Instagram to deny the cheating allegations, saying that they are completely false. Both Jim and Meghan appeared to have unfollowed each other on social media and are moving forward in the divorce process. With all the drama circling them, fans are wondering if this alleged affair will open the door for Meghan to return to the hit show and be able to have that Bravo paycheck to provide for her and her three children as a single mother.
