Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York has revealed she has stopped drinking again. Due to her probation, the housewife could not drink any alcoholic beverages but started drinking once she was off.
The Countess has an air about her that does not help her connect with her fans the top especially since she has been completely over the top with her Palm Springs arrest. The former model and tall brunette was first the most unliked cast member on the show thanks to her embracing her Countess title. Luann de Lesseps often acted conceited, even putting on a bit of an accent butedt fans always poin out she was a nurse from Connecticut. Since her arrest, she has been able to capitalize on performing sub-par cabarets.
The cameras have followed around the confident women of New York City the entire season and observed their binge drinking habits. The women of New York are known to enjoy a cocktail or two. Fans have taken note of their indulgence and even Andy Cohen revealed he thinks the women have treated themselves to a Pinot Grigio a bit too much. While the alcohol fuel drama has led to some amazing moments this season it sometimes looks as if the reality stars have gone off the rails. Recently, on a Watch What Happens Live episode, Luann revealed she had stopped drinking again. Check out the interview below:
After multiple get-togethers that led to the ladies have argumentative personalities Luann has decided to hang up the flask once more explaining that at this time in her life she was grateful she was not drinking. The mother of two went on to say, "My daughter’s not drinking, so we’re kind of not drinking together. It’s been really good. So, I just have decided it’s going to be the dry corona time for me." The cabaret singer also said that every once in a while she feels a drink but then realizes she won’t feel good the next day deciding it just isn’t worth it. The franchise has always been about multiple parties, vacations, and drinking. Many times cameras catch the funny sides of alcohol like when Luann fell into a bush in Mexico but other times it shows the reality of what drinking too much can do. Luann made a choice to stop drinking because she did not want to be defined by it.
Viewers are also worried about Dorinda Medley’s drinking since it caused her to have emotional outbursts. Ramona Singer tried to conduct an intervention but instead made a three-ring circus out of the whole ordeal. Hopefully, the women can get back on track!
