The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd has officially split with her boyfriend, Brian Reagan. It hasn’t been an easy ride for the celebrity housewife, having to defend vicious rumors - and now a public breakup is sure to stir up drama for the new season.

Dodd had dated her fair share of men while appearing on multiple seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The famous housewife divorced Michael Dodd in 2017, and the most recent man she had been linked to was Dr. Brian Reagan, a plastic surgeon in California. The couple met back in 2018, and he debuted as her boyfriend in the season 14 premiere. The couple did take a quick break at the beginning of July, but seemed to reconcile rather quickly.

According to US Weekly, Dodd broke up with Reagan after only six months of dating, inundating her social media followers with updates and stories. The breakup occurred on August 15, and Dodd took the end of another relationship very well. She implied the breakup had to do with the doctor not taking her side in an argument. Dodd, who became a main member due to her hot-headed behavior on The Real Housewives of Orange County, ranted via her Instagram stories saying this would be the last time she would not be taken seriously, calling him an “a**hole.”

The housewife continued her breakup celebration by singing “Another One Bites the Dust” with her girlfriends laughing in the background. Her harsh attitude rubbed fans the wrong way, especially after seeing Reagan giving Dodd diamond earrings on the premiere episode. In the same episode, Dodd had also said that she loved the plastic surgeon very much, but the distance became too hard. Reagan worked and lived in San Diego, often commuting for their relationship. Dodd also touched on the fact that her ex-boyfriend could not handle the drama that came with being a spouse of a Bravo housewife. It seemed the false stories about Dodd’s alleged cocaine addiction embarrassed the plastic surgeon as well.

Ultimately, Dodd should have no trouble finding herself a new love interest. While false rumors and arguing women come with the territory of being a cast member on The Real Housewives of Orange County, hopefully her next beau will be better equipped to handle the pressure. There is still a lot to come on the new season, with even more rumors being spread, potentially causing even more long-standing friendships to end.
