The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Jim Edmonds has opened up about finding love again after his "loveless and abusive" marriage to Meghan King.

Viewers of Bravo’s original show will recall that Meghan was at first a hard character to like when she appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County but soon wiggled her way into fans' good graces. She married her ex-husband in 2014 and the couple share, three children, together. The two divorced in October 2019 due to allegations that Jim had cheated with the nanny. Since their separation, the two have not been able to agree on anything. Between the rumors of cheating, the allegations of abuse, and the custody battle, the divorce has been messy, to say the least.

But Jim is finally breaking his silence about his ex-wife. The ex-MLB player has not held back his feeling towards Meghan and has now accused her of abusive behavior. The 49-year-old praised his new girlfriend who he met while on a trip to Mexico. The reality star credited Kortnie O’Connor for helping him feel like himself again after he decided to leave his "loveless and abusive relationship." The father explained that if it were not for Kortnie, he didn't know where he would be right now.

Jim was thankful that Kortnie showed up in his life at the most perfect time. The professional athlete originally brought Kortnie as his plus one to a wedding in Mexico. Luckily, her positive personality brought him out of his dark hole, changing his life forever. Jim made it clear in his post that he felt like he was going through hell by being married to Meghan. The sports announcer even said that his breakup with the housewife put him in a dark funk. The multiple lies and accusations released by his ex-wife caused irreparable damage. Even though Jim denied giving any examples of the abuse, fans could form their own opinion. Viewers have watched both Jim and Meghan argue through the media, knocking one another down.

The Real Housewife of Orange County revealed via Instagram last month that she was dating Christian Schauf, who lives in Utah. For now, the divorce is at a standstill until the two can come to terms with spousal payout. At least right now, Jim seems content with his new relationship and new life. Hopefully leading the exes down the road to mutual agreement.
