The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Tamra Judge says Gina Kirshenheiter, a newbie to the show, is the real star of Season 14. However, it might not be for the best reasons, as Gina has been in the headlines recently for legal issues and escalating problems in her marriage.

In the last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra brought her friend Gina into the group of friends; and Gina, a Long Island native, continues to shake up Orange County. Having only lived in there for three years, she is still acclimating and is quickly learning where she fits in with the already established Real Housewives of Orange County friend group. The Season 14 cast will include Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Kelly Dodd, and Shannon Beador.

According to ETTamra said on a recent episode of Heather Dubrow's podcast, Heather Dubrow's World, “Obviously, Gina had a lot going on in her life," adding that Gina and fellow newbie, Emily Simpson, "really stepped up their gamethis season. Both women have only been part of the Real Housewives franchise for one season, and Tamra promises the drama this season, saying: “I think everybody is gonna be shocked." Implying that a lot of the drama would be coming from her friend Gina, saying, "I think Gina really was a rock star this season,” she added that Gina is a breath of fresh air for the show, bringing her reality to the show through honesty and humor.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14

In addition to her legal issues due to her DUI, Gina filed for divorce from her husband Matt Kirschenheiter last April. Viewers watched as Gina's marital problems came to a head in the last season on The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, some fans thought the couple might be reconciling earlier this year, though things took a turn in late June when Matt was allegedly arrested for domestic violence. Two days later, Gina filed a domestic violence restraining order against him, ensuring that reconciliation is out of the picture entirely. As a newly single mother of three kids, her new drama this season will be learning to navigate parenthood alone.

Many longtime viewers felt that the show - which was the first to launch the Bravo franchise - had grown stale over the years and that the plot lines have become a little less interesting. Season 14, however, promises to be a hit with favorites from the original cast along with the newer members. Viewers will have to wait until the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 premiere this Summer to find out what really went down with Gina and the rest of the housewives.
