Garcelle Beauvais had been petitioning for her good friend Sheree Zampino to join her on the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After two seasons of feeling a bit left out from her cast members, Garcelle will be having one of her real-life friends join her on the show. Sheree's addition to the cast comes after a year of Garcelle subtly campaigning for her friend to get casted. With an ally on her side, Garcelle might start to let her guard down.

RHOBH season 11 saw Garcelle open up about feeling like the oddball out within the predominantly white cast. While she didn't feel discriminated against in any way, she admitted to feeling like she was looked at "differently" from everyone else. Garcelle even called out Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, and Kyle Richards saying that she feels they have each other's back while no one seems to have her best interest at heart. After Denise Richards left the show in season 10, Garcelle was left with no real friends on the cast. Despite how long Garcelle has known Lisa, the two haven't gotten along too well on the show. They seemingly made amends during the season 11 reunion, but there was still a lot being swept under the rug.

With Sheree joining RHOBH season 12, she'll be stepping into a whole new line of work as a reality star following her time on the short-lived show Hollywood Exes. But Garcelle is sure to get her good friend acquainted. Garcelle started teasing how much she wanted Sheree to join the show in October 2020. She replied to one fan who tweeted Andy Cohen asking if he would add Garcelle's friend to the cast. "[Andy Cohen], thoughts on bringing Sheree Zampino onto RHOBH? I'm sure [Garcelle] would welcome her friend?," the tweet captured by The Jasmine Brand. Garcelle didn't shy away from letting the thoughtful fan know how "happy" she would be if Sheree joined the cast.

A year later, Garcelle followed up her Twitter petition with a comment confirming that she had been working behind the scenes to get Sheree a spot on the cast. When discussing how much she wants to have a friend on the cast, Garcelle noted how she would "love if Denise came back," she told People in October. "I've also been pitching Sheree Fletcher Zampino, Will Smith's ex-wife. I would love her to be a friend on the show," Garcelle added while noting she "would love to have someone I can trust," on the cast. It came after Lisa and Dorit shouted at Garcelle during the season 11 reunion. Despite Lisa's attempt to make peace by the reunion's end, fans were quick to call her out for not showing genuine support for someone she knew longer than anyone else on the cast.

With Sheree joining the entire season 11 cast, she'll be jumping into pre-existing feuds and drama. As Will Smith's ex-wife, Sheree has experienced her fair share of quarrels that spilled into the public eye. As an entrepreneur, the Sheree Elizabeth boutique WHOOP ASK skincare owner is a busy woman. Alas, Sheree has the resume to support casting on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It'll be nice to see some new faces. Along with Sheree, joining the cast as a newbie is an entrepreneur and activist Diana Jenkins. The powerhouse cast of women is sure to bring new juicy storylines for viewers to dig into.
