Eboni K. Williams is already eyeing her next TV role outside of starring on The Real Housewives of New York. Ahead of her upcoming appearance as a guest host on The View, the outspoken moderator has her sights set on daytime television. Amid talk of a cast shakeup coming to RHONY, Eboni appears ready to secure her next gig in the event she makes an exit from Bravo. The news comes after Season 13 was met with low ratings and a lackluster response from viewers.

There wasn't much storyline in season 13. Aside from Eboni's teachable moments with the predominantly white cast, there wasn't much else to discuss. Eboni made history as the first Black housewife on the franchise and made her inception at a time when the country was under heightened racial tension. With Eboni's background as a lawyer and inclusion moderator, she never shied away from debating with the ladies about the "microaggressions" and "white fragility" she felt they displayed. Ramona Singer expressed the most opposition to Eboni's "preachy" ways and the two spent the season being at odds. But their on-screen spats weren't enough to impress viewers who missed the days of entertaining storylines and lighthearted banter.

But Eboni wears her "preachy" role proudly and she's ready to take her commentating to new heights. Ahead of her guest-hosting gig on The View following the recent exit of Meghan McCain, Eboni says she wouldn't mind replacing the conservative pundit permanently. “That would be something I would be extremely excited to have a conversation about because the topics on there are so important," Eboni admitted on Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef. Eboni explained how her background in law helps her when tackling challenging discussions. During season 13, viewers saw how comfortable Eboni was with having tough conversations. While Ramona resorted to running away from confrontation, Eboni faced it head-on.

She credits her schooling with being a good listener as well as a good debater. "The ability to sit with one another’s perspectives without sitting to respond, but sitting to listen, going back to that skill, we learn in law school, the ability to listen and not just only be stuck in your argument, but be open to just some level of fluidity in your thinking in your unconscious bias," Eboni explained. She definitely was able to ruffle feathers among the housewives. LuAnn de Lesseps got schooled by Eboni after they got into a heated exchange over their education. Sonja Morgan was respectful towards Eboni and often defended her against Ramona and LuAnn.

Leah McSweeney appeared to be Eboni's only real friend on the cast. However, Eboni has admitted to being a bit taken aback by some of what Leah said about her during her confessionals. Now that The Real Housewives of New York cast has watched the season back, each cast member is fully aware of how the ladies really felt about them. Despite the delay, viewers are looking forward to seeing the ladies come together to recap the season. Whether the season was entertaining or not, there's still some unfinished business that can only be addressed in a reunion. But in the event Eboni decides to exit after one or two seasons, she might be able to find another television gig in a different time slot.
