Denise Richards’ schedule is getting in the way of filming season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The sought-after actress is now juggling a number of exciting new projects while appearing on the popular Bravo series.

Richards' breakout role came in 1998. That's the year she shared a spicy girl-on-girl kiss with Neve Campbell in Wild Things. She went on to dazzle as Bond girl Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough. These days, the mother of three has found a second life as a reality television star. In 2008, she appeared with her friends and family in It's Complicated. The show chronicled her everyday goings-on as well as the rebuilding of her life after a tumultuous relationship with actor Charlie Sheen. As a Housewife, Richards is charming fans new and old with funny quips, snark, and loads of California glamor. However, there is a roster of other projects slowing down her reality show obligations.

In 2019, Richards joined the cast of the long-running CBS daytime staple The Bold and the Beautiful. She smolders as Shauna Fulton, the show's resident vixen. She also has a sci-fi television series called FraXtur, as well as two films titled The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders and Switched slated for release. Aside from those commitments, there are the press junkets, interviews, and other promotional responsibilities that accompany these new projects. In an interview with Hollywood Life, a source said, "She's barely filmed Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so far this season and missed a few events just due to her own acting career which has picked up even more since she signed on for Housewives." The source continued, "She really loves doing Housewives but being an actress is her first priority when it comes to her career and [RHOBH] has opened even more doors for her."

Richards also has a lot going on in her personal life. In September 2018, she wed Aaron Phypers. She continues her full-time mom duties caring for her teenage daughters Sam and Lola, as well as her youngest, Eloise, who is only 7-years-old. The former model has been recovering from a surgical procedure that requires a great deal of her time and energy. The source explained, "Denise has also really been trying to focus on her family and her health, even recently recovering from a surgical procedure. The [RHOBH] women love her and are hopeful that she’ll be at more events in the near future."

That's the tough part about juggling fame with real life. Richards is a woman who has risen above adversity. She's kept her family intact, despite the tabloid fodder surrounding Sheen and the revelation that he is HIV-positive. Hollywood can be a difficult place to succeed, so grabbing an opportunity when it's provided is key. While her commitment to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is important, Richards should also continue to celebrate the fact that she is in demand.
