Tiffany joined the cast of RHOD for season five alongside new "friend of," Jennifer Davis Long. From the very first episode, Tiffany had an emotional conversation with Brandi Redmond about racial insensitivity toward the Asian community. She explained to Brandi how her controversial video of her making fun of "squinty" eyes hit home for her. Tiffany recalled a time in her childhood when the kids at school would pull their eyes back to make fun of her. The two both cried over the incident and were able to move forward in their friendship. Tiffany is not only super smart and personable, but she is also successful.

On top of that, she moved from China to the USA at the age of six all by herself without knowing a word of English. She has truly inspired so many RHOD fans. Fans are also praising her honestly about the mom guilt she has been feeling due to her hectic schedule as an anesthesiologist. "I love how she is talking about how hard it is to be a working mother," said one fan.
