The women of the Real Housewives franchises live such glamorous lives that fans are surprised when some of them flaunt amazing culinary skills. Although the housewives have private chefs and are used to eating at fancy restaurants, they also love making home-cooked meals for their families. Some of these reality stars love spending lots of time in their kitchens, hanging out with their children while preparing meals.

The housewives all come from different backgrounds so it’s interesting to see the kinds of food they prepare. Former cast member of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Kathy Wakile, made amazing Italian and Lebanese food. She was also known for her desserts, which looked as if they came out of a bakery. Fellow RHONJ star Jennifer Aydin was often seen in the kitchen, cooking mouth-watering Turkish food with her mother. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newcomer Jennie Nguyen recently made Vietnamese yogurt, and viewers became interested in trying it. Watching housewives prepare such delicious-looking food has fans wishing they could sample their cooking.
