Yolanda Hadid is accusing Zayn Malik of striking her and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is considering filing a police report. Shocking reports reveal a seemingly messy breakup between Zayn and Gigi Hadid. But apparently, the new parents are not on the best terms, and Yolanda got involved. The former Bravo star is possibly looking at filing a report against her daughter's ex-boyfriend following an alleged domestic dispute.
A lot has changed in Yolanda's life since she last appeared on RHOBH. She left the show in 2016 after starring in three seasons. During her time on the show, Gigi's modeling career was just taking off and Yolanda was married to David Foster. Since her departure, Yolanda finalized her divorce with Foster in 2017 and all three of her kids went on to become modeling superstars. Gigi reigns as one of the most successful supermodels in recent years. Outside of modeling, Gigi has been involved in an on-and-off relationship with pop star Zayn Malik that resulted in them welcoming their daughter Khai Hadid Malik in September 2020.
But it looks like things are going horribly for the former couple and somehow Gigi's mom got involved. On Friday, shocking allegations came forward against the former One Direction member accusing him of physically assaulting Yolanda. Insiders tell TMZ that the domestic dispute happened a week ago and Yolanda is considering filing a police report. While the exact details remain unknown, Yolanda reportedly claims that Zayn "struck" her. At the time of the reports, fans assumed Gigi and Zayn were still together raising their 1-year-old daughter together. But considering Yolanda's allegations, it's clear that Zayn and Gigi are over.
The "Like I Would" singer released a statement following the claims denying what Yolanda is accusing him of. "In an effort to protect that space for [my daughter] I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago," Zayn said. "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press." Following the statement, insiders revealed that Gigi and Zayn are no longer together and haven't been for over a month. "They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild," a source told People.
Zayn also adamantly denies Yolanda's accusations and hopes that "Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private." Sources for Gigi asked for privacy while noting the supermodel is only focused on her daughter Khai. This isn't the first breakup between Gigi and Zayn and some fans had speculated they were broken up. But both Gigi and Zayn are known for being private celebrities and keeping their personal lives off social media. Yolanda is a very involved mother with her three children. During her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda showed how hands-on she was with Gigi's modeling career. It's possible Yolanda shares that same protection when it comes to Gigi's role as a mother.
