What's the real reason behind Sutton Stracke being demoted on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The blonde was all set to be the next housewife but at the last minute, producers changed their minds.

Fans were introduced to Stracke during the dinner party from hell as she openly picked on Teddi Mellencamp for being boring. Stracke tried to play off her rudeness as southern, but fans picked up on what she was laying down. While the new housewife does add to the show, many feel she is coming across as plain mean and pretentious, which is hard to relate to for most.

Stracke originally started off as a full-time housewife but has been demoted to a friend. She filmed numerous scenes and confessionals and has decided to open up as to the reasons behind her demotion. The coveted diamond is sought after by many 90210 women, but she had to let it go because of her ex-husband's demands. While speaking to Reality Life with Kate Casey she explained that her ex, Christian Stracke became involved and expressed that he did not want his three children filmed for the show.

While the revelation of not filming came as a “hard blow, the 49-year-old said she understood his concerns. Stracke wanted viewers to be able to see her in her element when she was at home with her children. For the new girl, it was a chance for viewers to see a softer side of her as fans have currently only seen the blunt side. Stracke married Christian back in 2000 after they met as teens. The couple decided to call it quits back in 2017 but shared custody of their daughter Porter and two sons, Philip and James. Christian actually works as a managing director at PIMCO where RHOC’s Gina Kirschenheiter’s ex-husband used to also work. PIMCO also has a very strict no media policy, which could also have hindered the children’s filming.

Stracke decided to join the show so she would have something to concentrate on after her divorce. She shared during the podcast that she wanted to be a role model for her daughter, showing her she could do something for herself. For now, the jury is still out with Bravo fans as to whether they like Stracke or not. Her abrasive attitude has rubbed some the wrong way but as more episodes air, most hope that she will loosen up on her etiquette and let the real Sutton show.
