Kathy Hilton, "friend of" The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, spoke of her missing diamonds incident in a tour of her closet with daughters Nicky and Paris Hilton. The half-sister of BHOB stars Kim and Kyle Richards, Kathy Hilton had tried to stay away from the franchise as long as possible but is now enjoying the spotlight. She, like her sisters, has a background in show business, but now that she's joined the reality television world, fans are excited for this exclusive look into her life.
Since her time on the show, Hilton has already been making waves as no other cast member has before. Most recently, Kathy Hilton is owed credit for taking part in Erika Girardi's big cry this season. As a believer of astrology, Hilton believes her use of astrological sciences and energies helped Erika feel safe and supported enough to spill on her marriage and recent troubles. Whether or not that may be true, her presence on the trip did very likely help Erika open up.
In an interview for Footwear News, Kathy herself opens up her closet and spills on juicy stories, including the time a very special diamond necklace went missing. Paris and Nicky, also present, shared funny stories about all the times they had stolen items from their mother's closet. When the necklace came up, Nicky recalled, “I needed to be, like, glammed up, so I just went in and I throw on a necklace and I was out the door... within an hour she’s calling me, panicking.” While laughing, she remembers, “Apparently, this necklace that I had borrowed is extremely valuable and she thought it was stolen.” It seems although borrowing from their mother's closet was commonplace for the sisters, this incident stood out from the others, though it didn't sway the celebrity sisters from the habit in the least bit.
With and without her daughters, Kathy Hilton has proven herself to be able to keep it lighthearted at all times. Such humor and bright smiles might be the cause for why the Hilton is already a fan favorite on the RHOBH. Fans have already gushed about her breezy hijinks and likability, most recently referencing her goofs on the Housewives vacation. In a franchise known for so many problematic "faves," Hilton is more than just a breath of fresh air. Kathy Hilton is the fans' new hopeful for a new full-time housewife, whether or not it's in her own plans.
It's not often that a non-fulltime housewife becomes a fan favorite. As of now, Kathy remains in the "Friend Of" spot, but with more and more interviews like these, she may have a shot at officially joining the RHOBH family. So far, she has been able to do more than what she originally intended, which was to spend some extra time with her sister, Kyle. She's been able to make a real mark, and a name for herself, all on her own.
