A former employee of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne's estranged husband Tom Girardi has called out the reality star's mascara-filled tears, accusing her of "acting." This comment is specifically in regard to a recent episode of the franchise where Jayne met up with co-star Kyle Richards in order to discuss Erika's personal difficulties with legal troubles, divorce, and her former husband's desire to "punish" her. Following this episode premiered, some fans felt that they could not figure out if her tears are real or not, questioning if Erika was to be trusted.

Erika Jayne has spent the most recent season of RHOBH defending herself and distancing herself from her husband Tom's legal troubles. Lately, however, Erika has been unable to financially remove herself from his battles, as a ruling from early July stated that the Ruigomez family (known for being featured in the Hulu documentary about Girardi's alleged crimes) can reportedly go after Jayne for millions of dollars. With the law being seemingly against her, it's no wonder that fans and enemies alike are starting to call the reality star into question.

Recently, a former employee of Girardi Keese (Tom Girardi's company) known as Kim Archie spoke out about Erika Jayne on the Juicy Scoop podcast hosted by comedian Heather McDonald. Kim, who originally referred the Ruigomez family to Girardi, gave her opinion on Jayne's mascara-filled tears: "There's been waterproof mascara since 1938 - before we were all born - so I'm sure she could get waterproof mascara." Kim added to her claim that Erika had faked her tears, pointing out that the oversized glasses that the reality star often wears out were conveniently absent despite the fact that it was a very sunny day when that scene was filmed. In the interview, Kim Archie also compared Jayne's tears to those of infamous televangelist Tammy Faye Messner. Kim also claimed that co-star Kyle Richards is also in on it, arguing that any friend would "either try to find her a tissue or come and literally wipe her tears." Richards, who was present for the tears, did not do either of those things, however.

Kim Archie is not the first person close to Erika Jayne to question the validity of her tears. In a recent tweet, former RHOB star Camille Grammer-Meyer also asserted that Erika's tears were staged, referencing a shoot when she and her co-stars swam underwater and Erika had no memorable mascara running down her face. Erika Jayne used to be known as "the ice queen," a nickname that even she embraced over time. But as she begins to show different raw emotions on the show, more people are beginning to question Jayne's authenticity.

What could be read as a change in how her emotions affect her (due to hard divorce and legal troubles) could also be read as a show being put on to get the public on her side. These critics argue that if she can't win in a legal court, she will try to win over the public instead. Whether or not the seasoned actress is a changed woman or a smart businesswoman is yet to be known. In the meantime, however, Erika Jayne's fans and supporters are wavering.
