New has broke that production of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was put to a halt after a crew member tested positive for coronavirus.

The upcoming season began filming a couple of months ago shorty after the last season 10 reunion. Two ladies from last season will not be joining RHOBH for season 11. Teddi Mellencamp was fired from the series after being a full time cast member for three seasons. She revealed to her fans that Bravo decided to not renew her contract. Denise Richards also will not be returning, since she decided she wanted to spend more time on other projects and with her family.

According to Entertainment Tonight, filming for season 11 of RHOBH is has been temporarily suspended after a crew member tested positive for coronavirus. While the cast and crew wait until it is safe to go back to work, they are following all proper safety protocols. Production is set to resume after the holiday season in January. The women were informed on November 25 that someone in the crew had tested postive and were told to quarantine for 14 days, reports Hollywood Life. The series is not the first show or film to be temporarily shut down due to a positive coronavirus test. The upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was temporarily suspended after a member on the production team tested positive for the coronavirus. No word on when RHOA plans on going back into production just yet.

Appearing on the upcoming season of RHOBH includes Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke returning as a 'friend of' housewife . The series has a couple of new faces this season as well. Crystal Kung Minkoff was recently announced as a full time cast member for the show while Kyle's sister, Kathy Hilton, was added to the series as a 'friend of' housewife. Crystal is also making history within the franchise as she is the first Asian-American housewife to join the show. She follows Garcelle who was the first Black woman to be added to the cast. Season 11 is set to be released in early 2021.

Hopefully the cast will be able to come back to work safely after the holidays so filming can wrap and the new season can air on time. Fans have been missing RHOBH and the drama that comes from the ladies of this series.
