The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp revealed that Dina Lohan wants to date her rockstar father, John Mellencamp. Teddi's father is known as John Cougar Mellencamp in the music industry. He has written and produced hit songs of his such as "Jack & Diane", "Hurts So Good", "Crumblin' Down", and "Lonely Ol' Night", to name a few. Even though her father was such a success in the 1970s and 1980s, Teddi managed to stay out of the spotlight for most of her life. She didn't come into prominence until she started on the Bravo series.
Teddi Mellencamp, whose diet plan was reportedly a scam, was known on RHOBH as someone who took accountability in the group. Despite a lapse in judgment during "puppygate" with Lisa Vanderpump, Teddi did take accountability for her misdoings. However, the fans seemed to turn on her last season after she brought up the rumors Brandi Glanville had mentioned to her and Kyle Richards regarding an affair she had with Denise Richards. Even though Teddi brought the rumor to the group, she was fired before the subsequent season started.
During an interview with E!, the 40-year-old revealed that she's been avoiding relentless direct messages from Dina Lohan regarding her father. Dina, the mother of famous actress Lindsay Lohan, appears to have gotten into contact with Teddi, who contacted COVID-19, after meeting her famous father. "She even said, 'The girls are all in for me to be with your dad,'" she dished on Friday's episode. She then added, "Can you imagine Lindsay and I could be sisters?" Teddi was being interviewed after making her guest debut back on RHOBH last Wednesday. In the episode, the mother of three stood by Erika Jayne amid her divorce from Tom Girardi and his ongoing legal issues.
"I filmed with Erika for three years," she explained. "We were good friends [...] I only saw Tom [Girardi] twice. But, nobody on the show ever grilled her about Tom before." Teddi continued to explain that she finds it odd that now, all of a sudden, certain people in the group are curious about Erika's relationship and trying to pry information out of her. As for her thoughts on Tom, who will not testify in court, Teddi admitted that she "never just got the best read" on him. During her few interactions with him, Tom would only talk about himself and "how wonderful he was the whole time." As for whether she believes Erika was complicit in the crimes, she is just supporting her friend for now. Teddi raved about how kind of a person Erika is and truly believes Tom was opening up to Erika about his wrongdoings.
Now that Teddi has been in the spotlight for the past four years, she receives a lot more interesting DMs from D-list celebrities. Who knows what other amusing DMs Teddi gets on daily regarding her father and his love life. At least she isn't too involved in Erika Jayne's lawsuit like certain other RHOBH stars.
