According to a source at Us Weekly, LVP will not be saying goodbye to her famous restaurant Pump unlike her other Los Angeles-based restaurant, Villa Blanca. The speculation began when Lisa posted to Twitter on Tuesday about the potential grim future of her restaurants. “After much cost & consideration for the well being of staff & guests we endeavored to open," she began the tweet. "Sadly, many restaurants will not reopen. We want to thank patrons and incredible staff who followed stringent guidelines. Masks are essential, stay safe we will prevail. Happy thanksgiving.” Many fans began to wonder if Lisa planned on closing up shop on yet another one of her iconic restaurants. Later on that day, a fan posted to Twitter a picture of a rental car company in front of the popular dining spot, leading more people to believe Pump was indeed closing down. However, a source close to the reality star confirmed that the restaurant will not be shutting down any time soon. They said the reasoning behind this speculation is due to the tarp and other coverings being put up to cover guests from any rain that usually comes the time of year in L.A. Now that the Los Angeles county has gone under strict restrictions of restaurants, breweries, wineries and bars, for at least three weeks, Pump and SUR will be closed.

The rise in coronavirus cases in the Los Angeles area is not looking too good for season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. The show which follows the lives of the employees at TomTom and SUR ha no plans as of late to begin filming anytime soon. One of the VPR cast members, Scheana Shay revealed on her podcast, “Scheananigans,” that she was unsure about the fate of the popular bar. “I’m worried that, I mean, ‘cause we don’t know exactly what’s going on. We were just gonna assume that with three cast members all being due in April, they would kind of schedule around that, but nothing has been said for sure,” the 35-year-old revealed. “And now with all the counties in the state going back into purple, I don’t know if that’s going to affect what the tentative plan even was...Nothing has been confirmed.”  With VPR up in the air, who knows if they will ever get around to filming the new season.

With the current state of the country, it's no wonder fans began to question whether or not Pump had closed. Hopefully once the restrictions loose up Pump will be booming with business again.
