A fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump was an icon in her own right on the show. Her extravagant lifestyle, love for dogs, and fashion sense were just some of the reasons she stood out. She was also known, however, for finding it difficult to apologize.
Lisa's time on RHOBH scored her a legion of fans. Throughout her 9 seasons on the show, her cheekiness, loyalty to close friends and professionalism in running multiple businesses made her a powerful personality. While she generally avoided the bigger and more tense moments of drama, there were times she was involved and found herself responsible for a few things.
One of Lisa's downsides, as a few of the women found out, was that she was quite stubborn. Sometimes, Lisa would do or say something that would just happen to hurt the feelings of one of her cast mates, and, when prompted to supply an apology, it wasn't exactly the easiest thing for Lisa to do. Sometimes, when Lisa did apologize, it wasn't seen as genuine or heartfelt enough.
Adrienne Maloof
In season 3, Lisa and Adrienne sat down to try and get their friendship back online, after Adrienne brought up the fact that she had heard Lisa had sold a story to the press about her. Though Lisa denied being paid for anything, she didn't dispute that fact she had spoken to the press. When the two sat down, Adrienne apologized for the accusation, and in her confessional, knowing the reputation of who she was speaking to, Adrienne said, "She probably also owed me an apology, but I knew that was probably not going to happen."
Brandi Glanville
The rocky friendship between Brandi and Lisa took many turns and ended in disaster. Along the way, each felt they were owed things - apologies, thank-yous, and more. When Brandi called Lisa in season 5 to see if she had received an invitation to an event she was hosting, Lisa was confused as to why Brandi hadn't yet apologized for things she had said behind her back. Meanwhile, Brandi was just as expectant for an apology, saying, "Lisa can't say sorry, ever, because she's perfect. She can never admit to ever being wrong or doing wrong."
Eileen Davidson
Season 6 saw an overly curious Lisa prying into the circumstances of Eileen's marriage. Though Eileen felt uncomfortable, she answered all that Lisa had to ask, but brought it up again at a lunch. When she told Lisa she didn't feel her apology was sincere and that perhaps she has a problem with how she words things, Lisa's reaction wasn't ideal. In a confessional, Kyle Richards said, "I feel like saying to Lisa 'just say I'm sorry and get it over with! Just say it! It's easy!" Lisa then tried to make Eileen feel better by telling her she will work on it, but that she wasn't exactly sure what she needed to work on.
