Lisa Rinna refuses to thank Sutton Stracke for purchasing her and her husband Harry Hamlin tickets to Elton John's 2019 Oscar Party in a new The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills feud. Lisa has a habit of being the main instigator in the drama which takes place on the show. She was notably the one who started the rumors that Yolanda Hadid potentially didn't have Lyme Disease, but suffered from Munchausen's syndrome. She then involved herself in investigating the health of Kim Richards, who she believed wasn't as sober as she was claiming to be. Last season, although she wasn't the one who initially uncovered the information, Lisa was the one who interrogated Denise Richards the hardest and couldn't accept that Denise was telling the truth.
This season, Lisa is taking a backseat when it comes to the main storyline dealing with Erika and her legal troubles, but that hasn't stopped her from giving her opinions on other issues. At the start of the season, Lisa had a conversation with Garcelle Beauvais about how they can repair their fractured relationship. After Garcelle expressed what she needs from Lisa as a friend, Lisa said Garcelle also has room for improvement as a friend. Lisa was upset when Garcelle didn't send her a thank you text after she and Harry dropped off some homemade sauce for her. Garcelle says she didn't think it was necessary, because she said it a few times in the moment, but Lisa maintained she still would have appreciated one.
It looks like Lisa is now refusing to thank Sutton or acknowledge that she bought her and Harry tickets to Elton John's Oscar Party. When answering whether or not Garcelle owed Lisa another thank you, Sutton said on Watch What Happens Live that Lisa never thanked her for buying her tickets to the gala. Lisa then went to Instagram to deny being there as Sutton's guest claiming she was invited to the gala by Elton John himself. After setting the record straight, Lisa continued by saying she is proud Sutton spent all that money for a good cause, followed by her complimenting her appearance that night. Her last little jab at Sutton came in the form of an Instagram story in which Lisa quoted Luann De Lesseps and played the song "Money Can't Buy You Class".
Lisa also took the time to respond to fans who were trying to make her see things from Sutton's point of view. One commenter, in particular, shared her confusion over the whole situation. In their eyes, if Sutton paid for the table that Lisa Rinna was sitting at, then Lisa was in fact Sutton's guest, and that she does owe her a thank you. They then asked for clarification on Lisa's argument, asking if Lisa is claiming she paid for her own ticket. Lisa responded by saying "Thank you to Elton John. Period." continuing her refusal to acknowledge Sutton's part in any of this. Sutton has not commented on any of Lisa's claims.
Is Lisa crossing the line for calling Sutton classless for asking for a thank you from her, when she is doing the same thing to Garcelle? Lisa isn't exactly known as the most morally sound housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but this can come off as blatant hypocrisy. Is asking for a thank you a classless move, or is it setting an expectation for your friends which they need to follow to meet your needs? It will be interesting to see if they discuss Garcelle's lack of thanks towards Lisa at the reunion.
