Bravo recently announced the iconic Lisa Rinna’s departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and it's time to talk about some of her most amusing or awkward moments. Although her departure is imminent, she had some legendary scenes during her eight seasons on the reality TV series. Part of Lisa’s appeal on RHOBH was her ability to switch from hilarious to horrible in mere minutes.
Much of Lisa’s screen time was filled with blowouts and confrontations, and her quips often lightened the dramatic atmosphere, if they weren't totally cringe-inducing. Funny: RHOBH's Lisa As “Momager”
In RHOBH season 10, episode 5, "Let the Mouse Go!," Lisa took on the role of “momager,” as her daughters joined her on the West Coast to start their fashion line, DNA. Although she claimed that she didn't get too involved in her daughters’ project, she also said that she’s a, “big personality that can suck the f*cking air out of the room.” She ended up modeling the new clothing on the couch, which was hilarious. Her daughters seemed only mildly embarrassed. It was a classic Lisa moment where she mocked herself and entertained viewers.

Although Lisa apologized to Yolanda Hadid throughout season 6, the RHOBH cast questioned Yolanda's Lyme Disease diagnosis. As usual, Lisa found herself at the center of the drama. She mentioned Munchausen's Syndrome, a condition in which someone falsely claims to be ill, as the real cause of Yolanda's woes. The confrontation at the BBQ in season 6, episode 5, "Will Power," might have inspired some viewers to crawl under their couches.
Funny: RHOBH's Lisa Becomes Erika Jayne
In a rare moment, the RHOBH cast came together in a fun episode where everyone got along (well, mostly), Lisa showed up at Kyle Richards’ annual Halloween party, dressed up as fellow cast mate, Erika Jayne. She played up Erika’s pop star persona with a giant blonde wig and headphones. Since Erika and Lisa are still friends, the costume was well received. Lisa’s goofy side was always a welcome break from the nearly constant drama. Although some fellow cast mates felt that Lisa had gone too far, Erika kept the comments from getting out of hand.

Lisa’s penchant for bringing up drama shifted from Yolanda to Kim Richards in season 7, as she brutally changed the subject to Kim’s 2016 arrest during season 7, episode 6, "Compromising Positions." The rest of the women bristled at what Lisa Vanderpump called a, “low blow,” and Lisa proceeded to paint herself into a corner. It was cringeworthy at best, but verged on being downright cruel. Their feud became so iconic that Lisa's departure might bring Kim Richards back to the cast of RHOBH, after she was bullied off the show.

Although season 7, episode 4, "Pantygate" is better known for the infamous panty debacle between Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne, Lisa shows off her fun-loving, playful self by selling her clothing line on QVC for over 24 hours. It’s filled with cute moments of Lisa dancing around unabashedly and remaining fairly sunny and optimistic, in light of the long hours of work she put in. These lighthearted, silly moments, contrasted with intense drama, made Lisa a memorable RHOBH cast member.
Cringey: Lisa Stirs the “Puppygate” Pot
Narrowing down Lisa’s awkward and cruel moments is difficult, considering she is one of the cringiest housewives ever. However, beginning in season 9, she managed to run LVP out of town by accusing her of what is now known as the RHOBH “Puppygate” scandal. LVP sold a puppy from Vanderpump Dogs to Dorit, but it wasn’t a good fit. She gave the puppy away, but that family ended up giving the dog to a shelter. Allegedly, LVP leaked "Puppygate" to the press, and Lisa R. took part in uncovering that.
Whether she’s up to no good, goofing around, or giving viewers iconic quotes, Lisa has been serving up ample funny and cringe-inducing moments during her eight seasons on the series. Her presence on the show made her a legend, and it remains to be seen whether the reality TV series will suffer or thrive following her long RHOBH stint.
