Gossip about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is swirling, and there are claims that Lisa Vanderpump reportedly "misses" being a star on the show. She left the series abruptly in season 9, following her messy fallout with Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, and others. Lisa continued to appear in her spin-off show Vanderpump Rules before pursuing other reality show ventures. With two shows being canceled and one in decline, it looks like Lisa is realizing that she needs a boost back to get back into the spotlight.
Accusations over an adopted puppy ultimately led to Lisa's last big fight on the show. She'd had it with all the drama and bickering, After nine seasons, she finally decided that enough was enough. At the time, her spin-off show was still thriving and Lisa could promote own her boss lifestyle on that series. However, in the two years since she left RHOBH, her spin-off show has drastically changed, and viewers are checking out. Additionally, her two short-lived shows, Vanderpump Dogs and Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump, were both shelved due to low ratings.
Now, it looks like Lisa is weighing her options and considering a return to the show that made her a household name. “Despite stating publicly that she doesn’t want to return to Housewives, Lisa secretly would love to be back,” a source told HollywoodLife. The new reports are different from what Lisa recently teased. She'd said she would only consider returning should production "clean house" by making changes to the cast. At this point, insiders claim that Lisa is “embarrassed to state the truth after how she left." It's said that "those closest to her know that she wants back on." Lisa reportedly "misses the show and has regrets about leaving it." Instead of exiting the show entirely, sources claim that Lisa wishes she had just taken "a season or two off and came back.”
Since Lisa left the show with no friends, she knows it's unlikely that any of them will want to see her return unless she apologizes first. “She hasn’t talked to them in a long time and knows there’s a lot of bridges burned there,” the source stated. The insider added, “Lisa isn’t really the best at apologizing, so it would be difficult to see her friendships with her former best pals like Kyle [Richards], Lisa Rinna, Dorit [Kemsley], and Erika [Jayne] be repaired.”
Since leaving the show, Lisa has continued to badmouth her former co-stars. She most recently took jabs at Erika and Kyle by claiming that Kyle was the one who unearthed rumors surrounding Erika and Tom Girardi's impending legal woes two years ago. Fans believe that when Lisa is given the opportunity to shade her former co-stars, she always takes it.
While sources are sharing that Lisa is considering a return, her ego may stop her from coming back to RHOBH. Lisa would have to humbly bow down just to be allowed back into the circle. As Lisa is a successful restauranteur, she will have to decide if mending fences with her enemies is worth it. Maybe The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills production will "clean house" a bit to get the often disliked Lisa back. However, viewers don't think Kyle and Kathy Hilton are going anywhere anytime soon.
