Garcelle Beauvais revealed that Erika Jayne was honest at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 upcoming reunion. Halfway through the season, Garcelle and Erika had a bit of a moment where Erika blew up at Garcelle for mentioning a private conversation. The ladies, plus newcomer Crystal Kung Minkoff, had spoken earlier that day about Erika's ex-husband Tom Girardi, and his impending lawsuits. Erika revealed Tom continues to call her despite her never answering him.
The actress brought up the conversation in the group discussion later that day, which took Erika off guard. She was hoping no one would bring it up, but Garcelle was never told it was a touchy subject. Erika had been open about Tom and the legal issues, plus everything Erika said was on camera. Luckily, the two were able to patch things up in the end, with Erika even excited to attend a dinner at Garcelle's home later in the season.
During an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Garcelle, who feuded with Teddi online, spoke with them about Erika and how she did not hold anything back during the reunion. "She came to the reunion, it was long hours and a lot was divulged, Andy Cohen did not hold back," the actress told the publication at the 16 annual Christmas In September charity event on Tuesday night at The Abbey in West Hollywood. "She was really honest, and she really said a lot of things we wanted answers to, but we were not sure she would divulge." The co-host of The Real also said that she admired Erika's decision to confront the accusations on air rather than ignore them. Garcelle was pleased to see Erika there after all she has been through this past year.
"She did her best, which I think is pretty amazing considering what she has been through," Garcelle, who fought with Lisa at the reunion, continued. What she liked the most about what Erika confessed at the reunion was that she is no longer "hiding" and is willing to face "her co-stars and fans." Garcelle was also asked about the singer's recent trip to TJMaxx, which she said there was no shame in. The reality star added that she hopes those who see these photos of Erika see her in a more humble light, rather than a spoiled, designer-obsessed rich girl. "They will see that she is human and her life has changed. Let’s hope that happens," she admitted. As for where Garcelle and Erika stand today, she says everything is fine between them.
According to Garcelle, Erika, who shaded Sutton, will be answering all the questions fans have been wanting to know. Erika has been open the best she can throughout the season; however, many of her stories seemed to contradict each other. Hopefully, she further explains the outlandish stories about Tom.
