Erika Jayne has been in hot water with fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ever since she and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, were accused of embezzling client funds in 2020, and as time has gone on, more and more people have turned against her. While Erika enjoyed a relatively warm welcome when she made her debut on RHOBH season 6, there have been calls for Erika and the other RHOBH Fox Force Five members, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley, to be fired after the group. Fans have been asking for this since they bullied Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Kyle's sister Kathy Hilton throughout RHOBH season 12. Months before the season aired in May, Erika and Lisa accused Kathy of viciously going off in Aspen, but since the event wasn't filmed, it became a long-running game of he said, she said.

Since the Aspen trip and its fallout finally aired on RHOBH season 12, most viewers have sided with Kathy over Erika and Lisa, with Lisa even getting booed by fans at BravoCon 2022. Just before the final part of the RHOBH reunion premiered on October 26, which features the long-awaited feud showdown between Lisa and Kathy, Erika accused Kathy of using a homophobic slur, and wrote that she will "Never back down from the truth of what happened that night." Without any evidence, Reddit users discussed Erika's Instagram Story in a thread started by u/dinkidonut, agreeing that even if Erika was telling the truth, her credibility was ruined months ago.

RHOBH's Erika Jayne Can't Keep Her Stories Straight

While there's no doubt that Erika has been through a lot, RHOBH fans have noted multiple inconsistencies in Erika's stories since her issues with Tom came to light. For example, on RHOBH season 11, Erika gave a jumbled explanation as to how Tom got in a car accident and contradicted herself several times when asked about their embezzlement accusations. Although Erika was eventually cleared, she didn't help her case on RHOBH season 12 when Erika said the victims of the Lion Air Crash were liars, refused to turn over a pair of earrings that were bought with the misappropriated funds, and accused Kathy of using a slur without proof.

Erika Jayne Attacks RHOBH Cast Members When They Ask Questions

Teddi and Erika fighting on RHOBH

RHOBH fans are convinced Erika isn't honest because of how she reacts to questions thrown her way. When Erika is in the hot seat and doesn't know how to respond to Andy Cohen or her RHOBH co-stars, she verbally lashes out and skirts around the conversation with an aggressive non-answer. When former co-star Teddi Mellencamp insinuated that Erika was lying on RHOBH season 10, she immediately went on the offensive and berated Teddi instead of explaining. Erika also threatened she would "come for" Sutton during RHOBH season 11 and had her epic meltdown in Aspen when the housewives asked Erika to show compassion for the victims.

Erika Jayne Points The Finger As A Form Of Deflection

Viewers who have watched the latest seasons of RHOBH have noticed that when the attention is on Erika, she tries to manipulate the conversation by throwing other people under the bus. Many fans think Erika and Lisa have lied about, or exaggerated, what occurred in Aspen so that Erika's legal situation would take a backseat on RHOBH season 12. When Kyle confronted her friends for not letting the situation with Kathy go, Erika immediately pointed the finger back at Kathy and said she was responsible for the drama, not her and Lisa. Also, when the final moments of RHOBH season 12 showed Kyle accusing Erika and Lisa of leaking information to the press about Kathy, fans could see the wheels in their heads turning as they thought of what to say. While Erika may be honest about some aspects of her life on RHOBH, her track record has solidified her as someone fans have no plans on trusting again.
