Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards have been branded hypocrites by viewers tuning into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 after cameras filmed Erika yelling at Garcelle Beauvais' teenage son, Jax. Kyle is the only OG Beverly Hills housewife remaining, while Erika joined the series during season 6. While Erika and Kyle have been involved in their separate share of issues on RHOBH (including Erika's publicized legal battles), both of their reputations have considerably fallen since season 12 premiered in May.

Fans have already had problems this season with other RHOBH stars like Lisa Rinna and newcomer Sanela Diana Jenkins, and previews of season 12's upcoming July 6 episode haven't quelled any concerns about the cast. Erika, who is clearly under the influence, is seen yelling at Garcelle's son to "get the f*** out," several times at Garcelle's 55th birthday party. While Crystal Kung Minkoff ushered Jax out the door, the teenager was clearly upset by Erika's unprovoked attack. And although Dorit Kemsley tried to keep the peace amongst Erika's tantrum, she was later caught laughing about the attack on Jax with her husband PK, Kyle, and Kyle's husband Mauricio Umansky.

While RHOBH fans on Reddit are disgusted with Dorit, PK, and Mauricio for brushing off Erika's drunken outburst, it's Erika and Kyle who have been branded the biggest hypocrites of the Real Housewives. It is not lost among viewers that although Erika and Kyle had no problems tearing down Garcelle's son, it was Erika who previously lost her cool at Eileen Davidson over the smallest comment. When Eileen threw out the analogy, "it's not like [Dorit] killed your child," during the season 7 cast trip to Hong Kong, Erika told Eileen to "shut the f*** up," cried her eyes out, and refused to listen to reason. And while Erika eventually came to her senses and apologized for her overreaction, RHOBH fans know that if any of the housewives yelled at Erika's son like Erika yelled at Jax, they would have a huge problem on their hands. Considering that Erika also threatened Sutton over asking a question on season 11, yet had no problem yelling at a teenager, it's become clear to viewers that Erika is a hypocrite who has no problem partaking in the same behavior she preaches against.

Kyle, who has also been branded a hypocrite on RHOBH in the past, is in the same hot seat considering that her youngest daughter, Portia, and Garcelle's son are both 14 years old. "Isn’t Portia the same age? If any of the wives told her to f*** off at Kyle’s party that would be a storyline for 3 seasons," one user wrote. In addition, dozens of commenters brought up Kyle and Mauricio's over-the-top reactions to Kyle's former friend, Lisa Vanderpump, jokingly bringing up cheating rumors in front of Portia on RHOBH season 9. Fans aren't just turned off by Kyle's hypocritical preaching that "kids are off limits" over the past 12 seasons, but many have pointed out that Kyle aired out her sister Kim's alcoholism without a second thought to how Kim's children would feel during the memorable season 1 limo fight.

While Erika has yet to comment on the scene or issue an apology for her behavior, Kyle has already doubled-down and insisted that she was laughing at Erika's drunkenness, not Jax being yelled at. Fans and Garcelle, who was not aware of the confrontation at the time, are not buying it, however. Viewers are not only hoping to see Garcelle call out the women at the RHOBH season 12 reunion but are desperate for a RHOBH cast overhaul ahead of the series' anticipated season 13. Between Erika and Kyle's hypocritical behavior, Lisa and Diana Jenkins' microaggressions, and Dorit's missing backbone, fans wouldn't be surprised if Garcelle and Sutton were the only housewives to keep their diamond after season 12.
