Amelia Hamlin is recalling the last year and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star says she "lost" herself during the time she was dating Scott Disick. At 20 years old, Amelia is still growing and learning as she enters into adulthood. She's ending the year as a single woman after spending most of the year by Scott's side. The former couple has been broken up since September and Amelia apparently couldn't be happier.
The young model has been adjusting to the single life after dumping Scott following his leaked DM scandal. With Scott getting caught talking badly about his ex Kourtney Kardashian, Amelia decided it was best to part ways. Amelia's parents fully supported the decision. Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin weren't fond of their daughter dating the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Between their 18-year age gap and Scott's reputation, Lisa and Harry wanted their youngest daughter to stay away from Scott. But they embraced the romance during the nearly one year Amelia and Scott dated.
Now as a new year approaches, Amelia is reflecting on the last year and how much she's learned about herself. Over the week, Amelia posted up a photo slide highlighting a few of her 2021 memories. "2021… the year of the bleached brow & dreams coming true," Amelia said in the caption. She went on to seemingly shade her famous ex. "The year that I completely lost my sense of self.. not knowing that I would reclaim it even more authentically," Amelia added. "The year that I went to new york and never left. thank u 2021 … thank you to everyone that made my dreams come true.. u know who u r!"
While possibly moving to New York on her own, Amelia did spend some time in the Hamptons with Scott. The former couple spent a few months in Miami before spending the summer in New York's ritzy summer destination. Things appeared to be going well around the time Scott decided to send Kourtney's other ex Younes Bendjima a DM bad-mouthing their mutual ex over her PDA with Travis Barker. Instead of joining Scott in the gossip, Younes posted the DM on his Instagram Story for all to see. The scandal put an ongoing wedge into Scott and Kourtney's relationship and led to Amelia dumping Scott.
Since the split, Amelia has continued her modeling career. She's traveled overseas to appear on runways and partied at Fashion Week events. Being so young with so much potential for her career, Amelia is enjoying her entry into adulthood. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has two famous parents, an active job as a model, and plenty of options should she choose to settle down again. It's clear that she has no interest in dating Scott again.
