Simon Guobadia is doing damage control after he was accused of cheating on Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta amid their recent engagement announcement. The wealthy businessman is denying a woman's claims of spending time together within the same time he's been involved with the star. His response comes as the new couple deals with public scrutiny over the seemingly conflicting timeline of their proposal and Simon's divorce.
RHOA fans were introduced to Simon in season 13 as the husband of Falynn Guobadia, a woman listed as "Porsha's friend" in the subtitle. So many were shocked when the Dish Nation host uploaded a selfie with Simon announcing their one-month-old relationship. In the lengthy caption, Porsha said how in love she and Simon were and provided a timeline to his January divorce filing that she claims to have nothing to do with. She also boldly stated that she and Falynn "are not friends" despite the show saying otherwise. Simon followed up Porsha's announcement with a post confirming his proposal to his new wife-to-be.
Now with the pair being the talk of the town, Simon has become the target of cheating claims by a woman who says they were involved around the same time he started dating the Bravo star. Jessica Harris posted a series of photos showing herself seated in what appears to be Simon's luxury car. But the film producer took to Instagram to shut down the accusations and deny stepping out on his new relationship or his previous one. "Let’s have some fun. If anyone can show credible receipts that I cheated on my ex-wife between 6/14/2019 (date of marriage) and 1/15/2021 (date of initial divorce filing), I have $50,000 waiting for you," he captioned a photo of Jessica in his car.
Simon went on to address Jessica's claims while circling the date of when the photo was taken on March 31, possibly a week or so before he and Porsha say they started dating. "In the meantime, we have timeline issues with someone claiming to have dated me at the same time as my fianceé Porsha. I have an extra $25,000 for any receipt showing that this actually happened," he said. "Let’s get to some facts. Btw, I keep very meticulous record (receipts) of my life," he added. With his public denouncement of the infidelity claims, Simon is taking a bold approach to proving his innocence.
Fans are enjoying all the tea being spilled in between filming. The season 12 reunion just wrapped days before Porsha hit fans with the big news. Now Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers are anticipating the new season after her Strippergate scandal from last year.
