As Sheree Whitfield returns to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the series' OG cast member is reportedly having issues filming with her boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams. With Tyrone being a former inmate who was only released from prison earlier in 2021, he's been forced to live under strict rules while on home confinement. This makes it almost impossible for Sheree to spend time with her beau and let the cameras capture their relationship dynamic. The issue is said to have put a wedge on Sheree and Tyrone's relationship and a dent in her storyline.
Sheree will be the reigning OG on RHOA season 14. She hasn't appeared on the show since season 10, so fans are very eager to get filled in on everything Sheree has been up to. During her last season, Sheree was in a long-distance relationship with Tyrone while he completed his prison sentence. The two have a history as friends that dates back years. His name was even mentioned during Sheree's on-air spats with fellow OG NeNe Leakes. At one point, NeNe admitted to going on a date with Tyrone during her divorce from Gregg Leakes. In the end, however, Sheree fell in love with Tyrone and got serious while he was incarcerated.
Alas, the show is putting a strain on their relationship. Sheree and Tyrone are currently not speaking after the show almost cost him his freedom, TMZ reports. Earlier in November 2021, Sheree went to Philadelphia to visit Tyrone, which is where he's been serving out his home confinement following his prison release at the start of the year. However, issues were raised in the hours leading up to their scheduled meeting after Sheree told Tyrone she had a camera with her. The couple was set to meet at a restaurant, but with Tyrone being on home confinement, him being filmed away from his home would put him back in jail. That's why Tyrone passed on meeting up with Sheree, and it's said that producers edited the scene to make it appear as though Tyrone stood her up. This disagreement has reportedly put a wedge between Sheree and Tyrone, and the RHOA couple hasn't spoken since earlier this month. When it was first revealed that Sheree would be returning to RHOA, it was said that she wanted her relationship to be a huge part of her storyline. However, with her not filming scenes with Tyrone, she'll be forced to find a new angle. Fans will still be interested in Sheree's take on her relationship and what she will reveal about Tyrone, even if he is mad at her.
With NeNe, Cynthia Bailey, and Porsha Williams all being gone, viewers will look for new storylines to dive into. Sheree's return comes with Marlo Hampton being bumped up to a full-time cast member. The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies will have a lot of work to do with reeling viewers back in after a dismal season 13. Hopefully, Sheree's phone conversations with Tyrone can keep them going strong. Should Sheree be single by the season's end, the OG will have a lot of people passing judgment on her love life.
