The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks is supportive of her former co-star NeNe Leakes finding love again after the passing of her late husband Gregg Leakes. During their time on the hit Bravo series, Phaedra and Nene always had a close friendship. Despite some of the ups and downs they had together during their tenure on the show, they always remained close. Now, it seems like the friendship extended beyond the show and into real life.

Phaedra was also at Gregg's celebration of life party at The Linnethia Lounge a few short days after his passing. Along with Phaedra, other RHOA current cast members and alumni showed up at the event. Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams came by to celebrate Gregg's life, as well as Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak, who infamously had beef with NeNe on RHOA. Much like Phaedra, all of Nene's former co-stars loved Gregg and had nothing but respect for him.

In an interview with Page Six, the former reality star said that she definitely believes NeNe will find love again after losing her husband to stage 3 colon cancer. "Love conquers all," Phaedra, who will never be friends with Kandi again, told the publication. "If NeNe wants to find love, she is gorgeous, and she's got a great body. So I say, go after it, honey." The 47-year-old's comments come just days after Nene thanked a man who slid into her DMs after Gregg’s passing. While she was flattered and inspired, the business owner isn't quite ready to get into the dating pool. As long as NeNe is happy, however, Phaedra will support her friend every step of the way. As some who works in the funeral business, Phaedra knows how it feels to see people die unexpectedly.

"I just tell people you've got to live like today is your last day. Not foolishly, but you cannot live with regrets," Phaedra added. "I don't want NeNe to have any regrets." Even though Nene, who is coping with her loss, might not be ready to begin dating just yet, Phaedra will be there to support her whenever she feels ready. The two friends reunited at The Linnethia Lounge, where she and other RHOA stars celebrated Gregg's life. Phaedra also spoke to Page Six while she was there, explaining that NeNe is "holding up well." However, the lawyer knows that grieving takes time. She is certain that NeNe will get through it. In September, Gregg passed away after battling stage 3 colon cancer. He was initially diagnosed in 2018 and went into remission a few months later. Unfortunately, earlier this summer in 2021, Nene, who opened up about her new normal, revealed that cancer had returned and was worse this time around.

Even though Nene is going through a lot right now, her former The Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Phaedra will always be there for her. Phaedra knows NeNe will grow and move on from this situation despite all the grief she is feeling right now. Hopefully, NeNe will find someone again who cherished her as much as Gregg did.
