It is still up in the air whether or not NeNe Leakes will be a part of the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After she went on a Twitter rant, fans have inferred that, behind the scenes, Nene's currently fighting for her position on the show. Whoever this other person is and how they've wronged NeNe, her beef with them likely pertains to the contract negotiations she is currently involved with.

NeNe has cried wolf in the past about leaving the show for good, but always ends up staying on for one reason or another. Recently, however, NeNe feels as though her talent has gone underappreciated and that her and the network need to have a conversation about reaching a compromise. Previous seasons haven't been the easiest for NeNe, who has had an ongoing beef with a large number of her fellow cast members, especially Kenya Moore, who is considered a longtime rival.

According to All About The Tea, someone was definitely put on blast over the weekend when NeNe went off on Twitter about what we can assume was some sort of betrayal. The person (or Bravo) these Tweets were directed towards aren't identified quite yet and NeNe refused to say who. NeNe insinuated that she wasn't at fault for any ongoing drama by stating, “You do somebody wrong but want them to be quite about YOUR wrong doings! How does that work?" NeNe went on to Tweet things like, "Support Black Women," and that she's protected "every1" for years, even going so far as to say she's covered up things that she regrets covering up. What those things are remain to be seen.

There's been talk of Bravo minimizing NeNe's appearance on the show (or dropping her altogether), due to the ongoing drama. But Kandi Burruss went to bat for NeNe, saying she'd love to have her back despite the two sharing intense drama. Kandi described this drama as the two of them being "like oil and water."

According to NeNe, quarantine has made her re-evaluate her life and seek out normalcy. NeNe said that she's learning to appreciate a lot of different aspects of her life that she didn't before the show. Right now, she said, it's time to move forward. NeNe said, "Me and my wig got to leave, honey.” However, it seems that NeNe is still negotiating her contract with Bravo and it isn't known if she'll be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is currently on hiatus.
