The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Nene Leakes is lashing out at the Bravo network. Many feel there has been a misstep when it came to negotiating the reality star’s compensation.
Nene Leakes has recently announced she is going to be given her own show on the E! network. There has been speculation for months but now it's confirmed the rumors were true. Reality TV viewers were wondering why Leakes had yet to sign The Real Housewives of Atlanta contract. Viewers are worried the OG of Atlanta may say goodbye to the franchise forever. Leakes has always been at the forefront of most of the drama that has conspired within the show. The entire last season she told cameras she was a changed woman who was finding her own inner peace. She no longer wanted to be combative with the other women. Rumors have been swirling around the peach having been fired, but she claims it just is not true.
The OG of Atlanta is still in talks with the Bravo network and her return seems to be up in the air. Many still believe that she has been let go from the show, but sources close to Leakes claim that they are still in negotiations. Fans are concerned for the fan favorite since she has yet to address the rumors.
This marks the first time that fans have ever questioned whether the queen would return to the franchise. The main concern that Leakes would not return for season 13 would be that Bravo executives would like to show a younger group of women. Page Six has confirmed that actress Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali. who is an influencer, are both in their early 30s and signed on as new editions. The mother of two has not been shy about hinting that there has been trouble in paradise thanks to her social media posts. This past Friday the reality star posted a cryptic tweet asking if her followers had ever worked "with a sociopath" who liked to use her for their personal gain. In a scary turn of events, Leakes also eluded that she felt she was in a similar situation that Tamar Braxton had just gone through. The WeTV personality accused the network of making her suicidal.
Even though Leakes has not confirmed that she may be feeling depressed fans would just like to know the outcome of the negotiations. Leakes has revealed that she has been going through a lot lately. She revealed that fans would not believe how she was being treated by co-stars and the network. Hopefully, all can be worked out and fans can continue to watch the Bravo personality’s life unfold.
