Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton recently unfollowed each other on Instagram and hinted at an impending feud on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The two have been anything but best friends on the show. But in season 13, viewers got to see Kenya and Marlo make amends in the name of shading Porsha Williams. However, it looks like their camaraderie was only short-lived after the pair made a move that looks like they're no longer on speaking terms.
The "Strippergate" scandal of season 13 saw Kenya and Marlo come together to put Porsha on blast. The housewife and friend of both accused Porsha of hooking up with Bolo, the infamous exotic dancer Kandi Burruss hired to entertain Cynthia Bailey's engagement party. Porsha wasn't initially open with her activities the night of Cynthia's party. But, Kenya and Marlo were both adamant that Porsha and Tanya Sam enjoyed more than a private dance in the late-night hours. Now with Marlo securing her peach as a full-time housewife, it looks like her friendship with Kenya didn't last too long.
Recently, fans took notice of Kenya and Marlo no longer following each other on Instagram. Once the word was out, Marlo posted a cryptic message to her IG Story that seemingly hinted at a brewing feud. “I will unfriend, uncousin, unf*ck, unco-worker, unfollow, unfamily a draining soul REAL quick," the post captured by The Jasmine Brand read. Kenya appeared to respond to Marlo's shady cryptic post with one of her own. “There are some people who always seem angry and continuously look for conflict," the quote captured by Reality Blurb read. "Walk away; the battle they are fighting isn’t with you, it is with themselves.”
Marlo is finally set to have her time in the limelight in season 14 after getting promoted to a full-time housewife. Kenya and Marlo have spent years feuding with each other for various reasons. In season 9 they were at odds after Kenya snubbed Marlo's invitation to her birthday party. Now with Marlo joining Kenya as a housewife, there might be some extra shade-throwing from the longtime frenemies. Had Porsha returned, Marlo and Kenya's friendship might've lasted a little longer.
Since they only became friendly at Porsha's mercy, the foundation wasn't strong enough to last through the next season. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to return with OG Sheree Whitfield making a comeback, Marlo securing her first-ever peach, a newcomer by the name of Sanya Richards-Ross and returning housewives, Kandi Burruss, Kenya, and Drew Sidora. From the looks of the latest Instagram activity, Kenya and Marlo might be the ones at the center of the drama this time around. With them being the show's top pot stirrers, the two were bound to butt heads. Fans are anxious to find out who else didn't get along while filming the new season. Following a dismal season 13, viewers are eager to sip on some new tea.
