Now that The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13 has come to an end, Kandi Burruss is considering that it might be her time to exit the series. The 44-year-old joined RHOA in 2009 for its second season alongside Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Lisa Wu, and Shereé Whitfield. Kandi became close with Kim almost immediately, with Kandi even writing and producing Kim's first-ever song. She also wrote and produced her song "Don't Be Tardy for the Party", which was later used as the theme song for Kim's now-canceled reality series, Don't Be Tardy.

As the series went on, Kandi Burruss became one of the most beloved housewives from Real Housewives of Atlanta. Overall, the viewers enjoyed the singer/songwriter's laid-back personality and her passionate work ethic. Kandi is willing and determined enough to hustle for her money, whether she is writing and producing songs, opening up restaurants, launching a line of cosmetics, and more. The entrepreneur has built quite a life for herself since she joined RHOA, and now might be her time to say goodbye.

During an interview with The Jasmine Brand, Kandi Burruss opened up about the possibility of her leaving RHOA after being a part of the show for 12 seasons. "You just contemplate, like, I don’t know, ‘When is your time?'" she told the outlet on Thursday. "It’s not like it’s not like a definite answer, you know what I mean." Even though Kandi, who won season three of The Masked Singer, enjoys being a part of the show and filming with the women, sometimes the stress can get to her. "It is stressful at times. It is a lot going on, you know, but I do love the fans. I love the support of the fans," she admitted. Being a part of an ensemble cast such as RHOA can be emotionally taxing, as the women are expected to be in some sort of conflict.

In April, Kandi also spoke to Access Hollywood, where she got candid about potentially leaving RHOA after season 13. However, she would want to leave on good terms with the network. "I’m always contemplating when is my time for me to make a move," Kandi said, noting, "For me, I’ve had a great relationship with the network, so I don’t think it will ever be a situation where it would be a bad thing - at least, I hope it wouldn’t be." Kandi, who has been a part of the RHOA cast since season 2, isn't sure about whether her time is up yet but is weighing her options. The singer has so many other streams of income, so the stress and drama of the show may no longer be worth it for her.

Fans of RHOA don't want to see Kandi go, but they do understand her concern. Kandi has been a part of the franchise for 12 years and is unsure whether or not her time on the show may have run its course. She is over the fighting and the drama, and wants to focus her attention on her other businesses. Whether she chooses to stay or to leave, Kandi will always be remembered as a beloved cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
