The Real Housewives of New York City host, Andy Cohen, thinks that Bethenny Frankel will return to the show one day, eluding to the franchise as being like a club - once you’re in, you’re in.

On August 21, the Real Housewives Of New York City all-star made it official once again, announcing she would be departing from the hit show. Frankel detailed her reasoning behind the move, saying she wanted to focus more on her franchise and spend quality time with her daughter. The reality star wanted to focus on being a mom, which she could now do because of her financial stability. She did make sure to thank her fans and express her gratitude for the chance to star on such a great show.

The face of Bravo, Andy Cohen said it is not over till it's over, believing that Frankel will one day return to the show. On his radio show, Radio Andy, Cohen commented that Frankel couldn’t just leave as the show is too much like the mob. On the show, which started airing this season on September 4, Cohen went on to say, “I do hope and think that she will come back sometime. Who knows?” The TV personality also made a point to say that Frankel had left the show once before back when season 3 ended, only to return for season 7 onwards. Cohen went on to say he was grateful for the time that Frankel spent on the show as her personality really made the hit series what it is today.

Andy Cohen and Bethenny Frankel

The man behind the success of Bravo said that Frankel had spoken about leaving the show six weeks ago, speaking with producers before announcing. After the news broke, Frankel even teased that she may turn up back on Bethenny Ever After. Cohen continued to rave about his close friend, saying that she was an absolute trip and is still very much a part of everything that is currently going on. The host even imagined her dropping by to see how everything was going or just to say hello.

While Cohen is eternally grateful for Frankel’s original return and is hoping for a second coming eventually, fans are a little more shaken up about Frankel’s departure from The Real Housewives of New York City as she was a fan favorite. Viewers are now concerned about how the storylines will play out between the other women as it has already been announced that Bravo will add Tinsley Mortimer’s friend Leah McSweeney, but there is still Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, who always seem to get into trouble.
