Sadie Adler voice and motion capture actress Alex McKenna says she'd be game to star in Red Dead Redemption 3 - not as a supporting character, but as the protagonist. Red Dead Redemption 2 made an impression on a lot of people for its rich story, the vast, sprawling open world, but also its incredibly well-realized characters. One of the most noteworthy members of Red Dead Redemption 2's cast is a recently widowed rancher named Sadie Adler. Despite being riddled with grief for a big portion of the sequel, she eventually rises above her obstacles to become a just as respected of a gunslinger as Arthur Morgan, enamoring many players with her origin story arc.

Sadie Adler has developed a notable reputation among players since the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2. She's the sort of strong female character that players have come to expect in modern gaming, casting off many of the growing medium's old gender stereotypes. Rockstar's continued history of only allowing players to play as men, especially at a time when player demographics are shifting to be more diverse than ever, has made some fantasize about Red Dead Redemption 3 as a Sadie Adler story. Now, even her own actress agrees.

In an interview with Dan Allen GamingRed Dead Redemption 2 actress Alex McKenna stated it would "be a dream" to lead Red Dead Redemption 3. Given the high degree of success of the last entry, Red Dead Redemption 3 is almost a certainty, causing fans to speculate where the series will go next. "I do very much love Sadie Adler. I got to play her for five years so she holds a very specific place in my heart and also, may be the coolest character I've played to date in my career," said McKenna, speaking about the character and having the chance to return.

McKenna played Sadie Adler on-and-off for five years, as Red Dead Redemption 2 had a lengthy production that ran from 2013 to 2018. Looking at how long Grand Theft Auto VI has taken so far, it seems likely that Red Dead Redemption 3 would be just as long - if not longer - of a development cycle, but she's still interested in bringing the character to life in a sequel.

Similarly, actor Rob Wiethoff expressed interest in bringing John Marston back in Red Dead Redemption 3 as well, though it's unlikely both characters could co-exist given the series' timeline. It would either have to be a John Marston-focused prequel or a Sadie Adler adventure in South America, as it was heavily implied that's where she traveled to after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2. Whether or not Sadie Adler rides again remains to be seen, but there's clearly lot of people who want to see it happen in a hypothetical Red Dead Redemption 3.
