The Razer Blade 15 is a powerhouse of a laptop, while the Blade Stealth 13 offers gaming chops in a ridiculously compact form factor. Choosing between the two can get tricky as they each come with distinct advantages that cater to different types of people. When it comes to serious desktop gaming on the go, though, the Razer Blade 15 certainly offers ample specs for the price.

Despite having an expansive 15.6-inch display, Razer certainly lauds its portability, even going so far as to call it the world's smallest gaming laptop. However, it might have a bit of a competition for that title, since the Razer Blade Stealth 13 is capable of bringing respectable computing performance to an even smaller frame. Unlike Razer's other offerings at that size, which lean more on productivity, the Blade Stealth 13 actually comes with internals that are optimized for gaming.

The base version of the Razer Blade 15 comes with a 144Hz Full HD display running on a 10th generation Intel Core i7 6-core processor and a RTX 2060 GPU, while the base version of the Blade Stealth 13 comes with a smaller 13.3-inch 120Hz FHD display, and less beefy quad-core i7 CPU and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q GPU equivalents. The Razer Blade 15 also holds a definitive advantage when it comes to input-output connectivity, given it comes with dual USB-A 3.1 ports, a USB-C 3.2 Port, a Thunderbolt 3 port including a full-sized Ethernet cable port, while the Blade Stealth 13 only comes with two USB-A 3.1 ports and a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

Razer Blade 15 & Blade Stealth 13: Which Is Better For Whom?

Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop

Base versions of both models come with 512GB of internal storage, 16GB of RAM, and Razer Chroma RGB keyboards capable of displaying only one color at a time. However, the Razer Blade 15's more powerful GPU options certainly give it an edge for gaming performance, especially after considering the huge performance gains its Advanced Edition variant can offer. One can get a Razer Blade 15 with a much beefier RTX 2070 GPU at $1,599, and it will still cost less than the Blade Stealth 13's $1,699 starting price. The Razer Blade Stealth 13, on the other hand, only offers the less-powerful GTX 1650 Ti at most across all of its variants.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily make the Razer Blade 15 superior as not everyone prefers a bulky laptop over a sleeker netbook. When comparing only the base versions of each model, the Razer Blade Stealth 13's display is better equipped for outdoor usage as well given how effective its matte screen is at omitting glare. Furthermore, there are not many devices on the market that can compete with the Blade Stealth 13's unique combination of blending the prowess of gaming laptops with the unrivaled ease-of-use and portability of netbooks. Consumers looking for more oomph in their gaming will certainly favor the Razer Blade 15, but for those who prefer a more unassuming gaming laptop that's as lightweight as it's powerful, the Blade Stealth 13 will be more up their alley.
