Fans of DC's Titans may just be meeting the mystical Raven, but in DC's Raven: Daughter of Darkness comic book, the arcane superheroine is the only thing capable of saving billions of human lives. Good thing she's up to the task.

Since the relaunch of Raven's solo comic series, the teenage Titan has been struggling to manage both her family life and a role in the latest version of Night Force, DC's supernatural strike team. And in our exclusive preview of Raven: Daughter of Darkness #11, our heroine realizes that both jobs are about to get a LOT more difficult. For the superhero side, the villains' ultimate plan of global slaughter has now been explained in detail. But for the family side of things... well, Raven is about to wish that all she had to worry about was an overly concerned Aunt and Uncle.

The previous issues of Raven have introduced the otherworldly Shadow Riders, a group of mysterious soldiers intent on slaughtering any and all Arcanes (magical people) that they encounter. Recently, it was revealed that the Shadow Riders are actually an ancient force created by humans to help wipe out the Arcane - so that they might become the dominant species on planet Earth.

The plan worked in ancient history... but the Shadow Riders have returned with a plan to do more than kill. Check out the preview pages of Raven: Daughter of Darkness #11 below:

Yes, the Shadow Riders have made it their mission to wipe out any trace of the Arcane, as was their ancient purpose. But that no longer includes Raven, Zachary Zatara, Black Alice, or the others blessed with magical abilities. It extends to any and all members of humanity related to the Arcane, even if only by trace amounts - a single drop of Arcane blood seems enough to earn death at the Shadow Riders' hands. Obviously, the stakes have been raised from the time Raven and her Night Force teammates thought they were just trying to avoid the shadowy magic-hunters.

As if the murder of billions wasn't enough of a problem, it seems Raven's attempt to wipe her misbehavior from her family's minds worked too well - erasing any and all memory of Raven, period. These dilemmas may not be equal in scale, but will no doubt test Raven's skills when the full issue releases. In the meantime, read on for the full synopsis and details below:
