Ubisoft has revealed that Rainbow Six Siege will be launching a brand-new Ricky and Morty crossover tomorrow, bringing in a new cosmetic character bundle for Ace that will allow players to dress up as Mr. Meeseeks. The newest event will mark Rainbow Six Siege's second collaboration with the animated series, as a similar crossover, last year featured two separate bundles that introduced Gromflomite and Pickle Rick cosmetics to the tactical multiplayer shooter.

Although known for its strict tactical gameplay with established characters, Rainbow Six Siege has a pulled history of crossovers and distinctive events. Ubisoft began adding special events to Rainbow Six Siege as part of Year 4, and since then has released a handful, with the most recent one being the Halloween-themed event Doktor's Curse. Major crossovers began in 2019 with the Money Heist event, which featured a new take on the Hostage game mode with red jumpsuits and masks from the Netflix series. This was followed by the Tomb Raider set which introduced a classic Lara Croft-inspired skin for Ash and the addition of two popular Elite character skins from the Resident Evil series, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine exclusively for Siege's Lion and Zofia operators.

Today, the Rainbow Six Siege team announced that they partnered up with Rick and Morty to release another themed cosmetic bundle tomorrow, January 20. Fans can look forward to the Mr. Meeseeks bundle which is expected to bear the price tag of 2160 R6 Credits, similar to previous crossover bundles. While the announcement is scant and doesn't reveal much about the upcoming bundle, previous leaks have revealed that the new crossover Elite skin for Ace covers the operator head to toe with a blue onesie that has Mr. Meeseeks face printed on its head. Other items in the bundle, such as the exclusive themed charm and weapon skin has yet to be revealed.

While Mr. Meeseeks' onesie appears to be overall different from the regular tone that Rainbow Six Siege portrays, the crossover still captures the comical spirit of Ricky and Morty. This new batch of content is the latest in a line of exclusive bundles, and Ubisoft has more cosmetic bundles up its sleeve for the upcoming Year 7 of Rainbow Six Siege. Specifics about what these additions may entail currently remain unknown, as the online shooter's next seasonal calendar has yet to be announced.

Fortnite's inspirations are beginning to appear in more multiplayer titles like Rainbow Six Siege. Other Ubisoft properties like Assassin's Creed or Rayman represented with character skins in Rainbow Six Siege and other games could be possible in the future. While Ubisoft has said a Siege sequel isn't necessary, Rainbow Six Extraction is the newest entry to the series and it's likely only a matter of time before more crossovers are introduced in the latest installment.
