For that reason, our ranked attack operators list does not include yet-to-be-released operators Gridlock and Mozzie who are releasing with the Australian-themed Operation Burnt Horizon expansion.

Season 9 of Rainbow Six Siege's Pro League wrapped up in February with the latest Six International hosted in Montreal and we've gathered the stats on the top operator selections by the world's best players. The ranked recommendations below are gathered from the current meta of the game before the Y4S1 major update releases.

That means the below picks take into account the current pro league ban on Lion (who's currently being reworked) and the three-month ban on the newest operators from Operation Wind Storm (Nomad and Kaid) who are on their trial evaluation.

Buck (JTF2)

Gadget: SK 4-12 (Skeleton Key) - A shotgun attachment designed for opening large holes in soft surfaces, including ceilings, floors, windows, and doors.

Born in the comfortable Central District of Hong Kong, Siu Mei Lin, codenamed Ying (firefly), was a close protection operative before joining the Special Duties Unit. Having developed explosive short-range power and combat skills, she joined an elite security service school right after high school. When she was tasked with a high-stakes money exchange during a kidnapping situation, however, she realized how limited her means were. Driven to have greater impact, she re-oriented her career to become an all-purpose operative. A year later, she joined a female-exclusive training in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she perfected her hand-to-hand combat skills and driving maneuvers.

Dokkaebi (707TH SMB)

Gadget: LOGIC BOMB - Hack into the mobile phones of every defender and force their phones to ring until they turn them off or until a timer runs out. Secondary feature allows Dokkaebi to hack into the phone of a downed defender to gain access to their cameras.

Born in Ceuta, Spain, Ryad Ramírez Al-Hassar’s broad resourcefulness on difficult terrains made him an expert tracker. His extensive training outside the Cuerpo Nacional de Policía include several survival courses, tactical desert navigation programs, and specialized combat diving practice. Ramírez is known to be the best asset of the G.E.O. to track down HVTs and intercept narcotics shipments. He is ruthless on the field and determined to unravel the events that led to the loss of his older brother, Faisal.

Gadget: EMP Grenade - Disables or destroys most Defender electronic gadgets via an electromagnetic pulse when thrown, extremely useful for removing traps and electrified or jammed reinforced walls to allow Thermite and Hibana to break through them.

Born into a family of stevedores, Baker enlisted for active military duty on his eighteenth birthday. A veteran of three wars, Baker was the oldest SAS operative on active duty until he was recruited by Rainbow.

Zofia (G.R.O.M.)

The well-known, decorated officer Zofia Bosak is the second Specialist from Poland’s counter-terrorism unit GROM to integrate into Rainbow, the first being her younger sister, Elzbieta Bosak. She has always been the favorite of the two sisters, which caused a significant divide between them. Following a maternity leave, Zofia returned to the GROM soon after hearing Ela would pass the selection. When Ela accepted the prestigious offer to join Team Rainbow, Zofia saw no reason to stay behind. Everything about the GROM now seems to remind her of her father and his tragic death.

Glaz (SPETSNAZ)

10.2% Pick Rate, 45.6% Ban Rate

Gadget: HDS Flipsight - a flip-up optic that highlights enemies in yellow, even through smoke, for Glaz's only primary which can shoot through soft walls, bullet proof windows, and Castle barricades.

Gadget: BRIMSTONE BC-3 - Exothermic Charges, similar to standard breaching charges, but are designed to destroy reinforced walls and hatches.
