Unlocking every operator in Rainbow Six Extraction is a quintessential part of the game's dynamic PvE setting. In Rainbow Six Extraction, players are put into the three-player tactical Co-Op shooter with an ever-changing setting. Much of the content included in Rainbow Six Extraction will feel familiar to players who have done everything possible in Rainbow Six Siege, but the gameplay has plenty of differences. Although there aren't the same number of operators in Extraction as there were in Siege, there is still a diverse enough group to provide a unique experience.

There are 18 different operators in the Rainbow Six Extraction story that are playable, and several characters come from the cast of Rainbow Six Siege. Supporting characters like Thermite and Mira will lead the three-person squad through radio communication, and some Siege operators, like Vigil and Sledge, join Extraction's playable cast as well. Rainbow Six Extraction is based on the limited-time game mode in Siege called Outbreak, but there is a larger story for players to complete than what was part of Rainbow Six Siege.

The first nine operators in Rainbow Six Extraction are unlocked by default, while the other nine operators are all locked behind in-game progression. The default Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction are Alibi, Finka, Lion, Sledge, Vigil, Ela, Doc, Hibana, and Pulse. Throughout the rest of Rainbow Six Extraction's story, the remaining operators will be unlocked three at a time across three separate Development Milestones.

How To Unlock All Rainbow Six Extraction Operators

Some classified Archæans aren't traditional enemies

As players reach Development Milestones five, 10, and 17, they'll unlock the nine remaining operators in Rainbow Six Extraction. At Development Milestone five, players will unlock IQ, Rook, and Jäger in Extraction. The next trio of operators unlocked at Development Milestone 10 is Fuze, Smoke, and Tachanka. Finally, the last trios operators unlocked at Development Milestone 17 in Rainbow Six Extraction are Capitão, Nomad, and Gridlock.

The quickest way to increase Development Milestones and earn the new Rainbow Six Extraction operators and Siege-familiars is by earning more XP. Rainbow Six Extraction can be played on at any difficulty to earn XP, but one of the easier ways to earn more XP is by quickly completing the higher-difficulty missions. More difficulty levels are also unlocked as players reach new Development Milestones, and the difficulty level can be chosen when players start a new Incursion. When playing with others, only the party leader has the ability to choose the difficulty setting in Rainbow Six Extraction.
