Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski has officially broken up with his boyfriend, former Flipping Out star Trace Lehnhoff. The split was recently confirmed following speculation that Antoni had started dating a costar from the hit Netflix series.

Reports originally surfaced about Porowski and Lehnhoff becoming close in October 2018. The day after news broke of his split from Joey Krietemeyer, it was revealed that Porowski and Lehnhoff were an item. The two were reportedly spotted together as early as September, with Porowski making an appearance at various Emmy parties with the interior designer as his date. Clues about the pair’s relationship were previously gleaned from social media, with Anton liking a spate of posts by Lehnhoff during that period. The couple even shared photos of themselves wearing matching brown leather jackets, that indicated they shared each other’s clothes.

However, the relationship eventually ran its course and Porowski is now single and not looking, a source told Us Weekly. The source said, “Things just didn’t work out, and he is concentrating on work.” The past few weeks were ripe with rumors of a split, provoked by Instagram activity that showed the TV star had unfollowed Lehnhoff and neglected to post any pictures of the former boyfriend in months. Lehnhoff's account has also remained free of Porowski since May, yet is still following his page. Following news of the breakup, emerging gossip claimed that Porowski had already moved on with Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness. However, Van Ness disputed these rumors. In other Instagram revelations, Porowski and ex-boyfriend Krietemeyer resumed following one another since their split in 2018 after seven years together. Despite calling it quits, reports made it clear it was an amicable separation, with their friendship left intact. Unfortunately, Porowski isn't the only member of the Fab Five dealing with heartbreak, as Van Ness' cat recently died after a sudden fall.

Antoni’s love life is significantly less complicated than that of many celebrities, and it is notable that none of his romantic entanglements are mired in scandal. While some may gasp at the emotional connotations of an Instagram unfollow, social media appearances don’t seem to have much bearing on Antoni’s personal relationships. And with the immense success of Queer Eye and sudden influx of fame not slowing down, it’s understandable why the newly-minted celebrity has decided to keep all associations platonic for the foreseeable future.
