For Teresa Mendoza, the goal was to just survive. Little did she know that one relationship would forever change her life. Queen of the South has given fans an escape. Although fiction, USA Network, and their writers have provided viewers some thrilling scenes and intense dialogue over the course of four seasons.

La Maldicion (Season 4, Episode 4) Rating 8.3

Tony is going through a few personal issues and tells Teresa that he misses his mom and her. We also learned that Kelly Anne can't cook but Pote, having a crush on Kelly Anne eats the food anyway. Boaz and Javier are looking for a way to dispose of the bodies they killed the previous night.

Marcel and his crew raid Teresa's warehouse where they lose one of their men after he drinks the liquid cocaine. Back at the bar, Teresa and Birdie bond over a quiet moment between the two women where Birdie offers Teresa her lucky charm. Teresa gets her revenge on Marcel by accident after they kidnap Bobby. But it comes at a cost.

El Cuerpo de Cristo (Season 2, Episode 1) Rating 8.2

Teresa and King George have a little friendly standoff. At the moment, George learns to respect Teresa which saves George and Camila's business relationship. The team of four, James, Pote, Teresa, and Camila are being followed which ensued in a shootout. Camila has a safe house that she wants to keep off the grid so her husband Epifano doesn't find her.

Then the shocker comes as we get to a hotel room and find a supposedly dead Guero alive and well. What's shocking is that he's there with a DEA Agent meaning that he's about to snitch on someone. But who?

El Hombre Pajaro (Season 1, Episode 7) Rating 8.2

The relationship between Ephinao and Camila is plain weird. Epifano is trying his best not to have her killed but his partners are trying to convince him that she needs to be taken out. While out getting medicine for a fellow mule, Teresa runs into Father Roman who tells her that he can help her get to Mexico. Teresa then goes to see Russell and tells him that she needs papers.

Camila is trying her best with her daughter Isabela. However, Isabela is still caught in her feelings that her mother was never there much. On the other side of the storyline, Epifano is forcing Camila's hand by informing her that she has a snitch in her network. Camila instantly thinks it's Teresa but the whole time, Epifano is lying to her.

Estrategia de Entrada (Season 1, Episode 3) Rating 8.2

Camila is trying to put the pieces together as to why her husband Epifano wants Teresa so badly. In the meantime, Camila still has jobs for Teresa to handle. Teresa is able to get in touch with Brenda and tell her to meet at a place they're both comfortable with. James tries his best to give Teresa some sound advice regarding her time with Camila.

It was only a matter of time before the test came. While out on a run, Teresa is supposedly snatched up by the DEA and asked questions regarding Camila. Luckily for Teresa, she doesn't say anything. Once outside the van, she comes face-to-face with her employer.

El Engano Como la Regla (Season 1, Episode 6) Rating 8.2

There are times where shows become a bit too predictable. In "El Engano", this one was one of those episodes. While still searching for a way out, Teresa just happens to make a delivery to a guy who just happens to be an immigration lawyer. Oh wow, this was some crafty writing there.

On the other side, Brenda is starting her own little drug business with a few locals. However, she's forgetting about her so Tony. Teresa and James are involved in another shootout and Camila is still stressing about not receiving her shipment and has no idea that it's her husband who's actually causing all these problems for her business.

Amores Perros (Season 4, Episode 7) Rating 8.2

Tony tells Teresa he wants to work for her when he gets older. Eddie and Teresa are going on a trip so he can introduce her to his friends in the music business. All this is going on while people are searching for Rene, who just happens to be the Judge's nephew that Javier and Boaz killed.

Javier goes to get his car from the junkyard and ends up killing another man. While this is going on, someone is trying to kill Teresa at the music event. She manages to get the best of him then acts as if nothing happened when Eddie comes around. The shocker of it all is when Tony pulls a gun on what he believes to be a sleeping Pote.

El Percio de la Fe (Season 2, Episode 7) Rating 8.1

El Santo means business. Camila is basically doing deals with the devil himself and just as a reminder of how dangerous he can be, he has somehow involved their daughter Isabela in it. Epifano tells Camila he will pay the $3M debt and move all the coke himself so Camila can get out of the business for good.

As loyal as James has been to Camila, she often questions his motives. On the other hand, she seems to praise Teresa for the same judgment calls that James makes. Sooner or later, James, Camila, and Teresa will have to sit down and figure out what roles are being played here.

Un Alma, Un Mapa, Dos Futuro (Season 1, Episode 5) Rating 8.1

Brenda and Teresa have an argument concerning Camila. Brenda wants to know why she's working for the same lady that had Chino killed. Teresa tries to explain to Brenda that Camila is not that same person and that she's had more than a few chances to kill her if she wanted to. But Brenda is not buying it. She wants to make sure she, her friend, and her son are safe.

James teaches Teresa a valuable lesson about violence in the drug game. He tells her that she can't save everyone no matter how innocent that may appear to be. Later on, Camila brings Teresa into her office where Camila tells her that she no longer has to worry about the danger of Epifano catching up with her.

Cuarenta Minutos (Season 1, Episode 2) Rating 8.0

Teresa gets her first taste of what it's like as a drug mule. After being hit in the face, she's helped by a girl who offers advice about the inner-workings of the cage but then later dies as the bags of cocaine inside her burst open, yet again. At first, Camila was ready to put Teresa to work but not as a mule. She had other plans for her.

Epifano is still pressing Camila on the whereabouts of Teresa and Camila, always looking for the upper hand against her husband, knows that she has one as long as she keeps Teresa alive.

Piloto (Season 1, Episode 1) Rating 8.0

We get to know the main character, Teresa Mendoza. She's introduced as a money exchanger and meets the man who would sweep her off her feet. The problem is, he's a drug dealer and her life would never be the same. After Guero and his friend, Chino are killed, Teresa's life is now in danger. She runs and ends up in the hands of the wife of the man who's hunting her.

She does have one thing going her way and that's the infamous notebook of all of the drug dealing and their routes. From this point on, we're either going to witness the rise of a great woman or the fall of a foolish one.
