Here's the Jack Rabbit Slims menu from Pulp Fiction. After Quentin Tarantino burst onto the screen with his directorial debut Reservoir Dogs, he quickly followed up with what is still - arguably - his defining movie Pulp Fiction. This 1994 anthology wove together three tales revolving around two hitmen and a boxer who goes on the run from a crime lord. The movie was instantly acclaimed for its quotable dialogue and the star-making performance by Samuel L. Jackson.

Tarantino would produce many more classics in the years that followed, including 1998's Jackie Brown with Pam Grier and Robert Forster, the Kill Bill duology that reunited him with Uma Thurman and World War 2 epic Inglourious Basterds. His style was so influential it unleashed a wave of imitators, including Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead and The Boondocks Saints. No other filmmaker could quite capture his tone, however, and it currently looks like he will retire from the director's chair after his upcoming tenth movie.

Pulp Fiction boasts any number of famous scenes, from Vincent (John Travolta) and Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) recovering the briefcase to Christopher Walken recounting the painful lengths Butch's father went through to smuggle his watch out of Vietnam. The Jack Rabbit Slims "date" between Vincent and Mia (Uma Thurman) is certainly up there too, which ends with their icon dance scene. The restaurant itself is themed after the music and entertainment of the 1950s, with staff dressed like Marilyn Monroe or Buddy Holly. Here's a picture of Jack Rabbit Slims menu prop from WorthPoint, and all the menu items it contains.

Of note is the fact that Mia orders a "Durward Kirby" burger from the Jack Rabbit Slims menu, which doesn't appear on the prop itself. She also orders a Five Dollar shake, while Vincent orders the "Douglas Sirk" steak, named after the famous filmmaker and a vanilla coke. Pulp Fiction's diner scene continues with Vincent and Mia getting to know one another, and she tells him all about her failed action show pilot Fox Force Five, which would later inspire the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad from Kill Bill.

Pulp Fiction's Jack Rabbit Slims doesn't exist in reality, sadly, so fans can't try out their menu for themselves. Which is a shame, since their five dollar shakes are apparently quite good.
