Psych may have aired its last season five years ago, but here’s where fans can watch the show online. The USA Network detective comedy-drama premiered back in 2006 and introduced viewers to protagonist Shawn Spencer. Played by A Million Little Things star James Roday, Shawn’s exceptional observation skills and photographic memory allow him to convince people he’s psychic. Together with best pal Gus (Suits star Dulé Hill) he sets up a psychic detective agency and helps solve crimes with the Santa Barbara police department – detectives Carlton “Lassie” Lassiter (Timothy Omundson), Juliet O’Hara (Maggie Lawson) and chief Karen Vick (Kirsten Nelson).

Unfortunately for Psych fans (affectionately known as Psychos), the show ended its run after eight seasons and aired its series finale in 2014. Thanks to the show’s popularity, however, the cast reunited a few years later to make a feature-length TV movie. Aptly titled Psych: The Movie, it aired on the USA Network in December 2017 and saw Shawn, Gus, Juliet and Karen living in San Francisco and reuniting over the holidays to solve a new case.

The show might be over, but fans can still get their Psych fix by watching episodes online. Amazon Prime members are in luck as all eight seasons of Psych are available to watch via the subscription service but there are several other options too. Seasons 1 through 8 of Psych can be rented or bought via Google Play, Amazon or iTunes and select seasons are available on Vudu and the Microsoft store. For fans who didn’t catch the Psych TV movie, it can be watched online via the USA Network’s video-on-demand service or the USA Network app.

While Psych might’ve concluded its official run as a TV show, it’s not completely over yet. In early 2019, news broke the Psych TV movie was officially getting a sequel that would see the cast reprise their roles once again. Titled Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, the movie will debut on the USA Network’s parent company NBC Universal’s new streaming service Peacock when it launches in 2020.

As with the first movie, the sequel will be directed by Psych creator Steve Franks, who also penned Psych 2: Lassie Come Home’s script with James Roday and the show’s executive producer Andy Berman. If Steve Franks has his way, we could be seeing more sequels in future. Back in 2017, after the premiere of the first Psych movie, Franks stated he’d love to make at least five sequels so Lassie Come Home may not be the last we see of the Psych gang.
