Fans can get a closer look at the PlayStation 5 and all of its various accessories thanks to an impressive new hardware photo gallery by Sony. The new PlayStation console’s November 12 launch date is fast approaching, and players can’t wait to get their hands on it - even as online retailers have struggled to keep the console in stock during the pre-order rush that began back in September.

One of the PS5’s many talking points is its striking white-and-black design, which is a drastic departure from PlayStation systems of the past. Fans have been making humorous memes regarding the unorthodox appearance of both the console itself and its corresponding DualSense controller over the past few months, and third-party suppliers are already creating interchangeable PS5 faceplates in several different colors if said fans wish to deck their machine out in a more traditional matte black finish, or one of several other colors.

In the meantime, Sony has just shared the PS5 Hardware Gallery to Flickr, featuring multiple high-resolution images of the new system and all of its accessories - such as the DualSense and the previously announced PS5 Headset, Media Remote, HD Camera, and Controller Charging Station. All of these photos show off the PS5 hardware from multiple angles, allowing viewers to see its smooth white plastic finish and various little details like the tiny PlayStation controller symbols that line both the inner edges of the console and the grip of the DualSense.

Certain parts of the online gaming community have already managed to get their hands on the PS5 ahead of its planned release in three short weeks, and have started to compare its size and packaging to the near-concurrently launching Xbox Series X in unboxing videos. Other details about Sony’s newest console have surfaced recently, such as how its UI allows players to access hints and online walkthroughs much easier than past PlayStation consoles and how Sony plans to use fan feedback to update components like the PS5’s ever-important cooling fan post-launch.

The PlayStation 5 is a beautiful machine, and not just in regards to its promising graphical capabilities. This is made all the more apparent in the images shown off by Sony's hardware gallery, which gives a crystal-clear view of the main unit and all of its corresponding accessories in all of their sleek, smooth glory. It won't be long before players can see all of these great-looking PlayStation 5 devices up close and personal, as they will finally be arriving on store shelves on November 12.
