The Promised Neverland began as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump, a popular one among readers. Notable for its atmosphere, The Promised Neverland follows a group of orphans led by 11-year-old Emma. The series begins happily inside Grace Field House, but things take a disturbing turn in the opening chapter. Together with her best friends Ray and Norman, Emma plans to escape the House, which is under Isabella's watchful gaze. The Promised Neverland is expanding into multimedia, including a Japanese live-action movie adaption coming in December. The first teaser was released in August.
