There are some familar faces in the cast of Project Power, a Netflix film that features characters who gain temporary superpowers from a new street drug. Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman and set in New Orleans, the narrative centers on the production and distribution of this powerful street drug. Project Power released in August 2020, and stars two A-listers in the main roles.

In Project Power, NOPD officer Frank Shaver chases down local baddies who deal a drug known as "power." The cop actually uses the drug before arrests, allowing him to literally stop bullets (sometimes inadvertently with his face). Shaver buys the street product from a young woman named Robin, who needs money for her sick mother. They're both tracked down by a former U.S. Army Ranger named Art, a man who's desperately looking for his missing daughter, and seems to know who took her and why. Project Power was written by Mattson Tomlin, the co-screenwriter of the upcoming DCEU film The Batman.
