Pretty Little Liars is known for its intense and dramatic stories throughout series. As the show went on, these plotlines and characters only got more and more unpredictable. Despite this, the girls always had their family to turn to when things got too rough.

Byron Reassures Aria Of Her Worries

Aria and her father Byron did not have a smooth relationship at the start of the series. Aria resented her father for cheating on her mother and things only got worse for Aria when Byron found out about her dating Ezra. Despite these differences, in season three, viewers were given a sweet moment of Byron comforting his daughter.

Aria asks Byron if she ruined Ezra's life by being with him. Although they would never see eye-to-eye on Ezra, Byron couldn't stand seeing his daughter so upset and tells her that she could never ruin someone's life by being a part of it. It is a beautiful moment between a father and his daughter that fans were happy to see.

Pam Asking Emily About Her Feelings For Alison

After Emily came out to her mother, their relationship was strained for a while as Pam reacted badly and disapproved of her relationship with Maya. However, the pair eventually repaired their relationship after Pam made amends with her daughter and begun to love her for who she was. That is why the moment she asks Emily about her feelings for Alison was so special.

Pam comes in with no judgment and only wanting what is best for Emily. She tells her that if Emily likes Alison that she can't help what her heart feels, but just make sure that she doesn't allow Alison to take advantage of her or let her use her in one of her schemes. It is a sweet moment that shows how far Emily and her mother have come in their relationship from the first season.

Mike Opening Up To Aria About Mona

Aria and the Liars have all had their problems with Mona. She was one of the original members of the A team and ended up betraying Hanna in the worst way. When Mike started dating Mona, it obviously had Aria torn about being supportive of her brother's first serious relationship and keeping her guard up. After Mona fakes her death, Mike is distraught and angry about how no one really appreciated her for who she was when she was alive.

Aria puts her feelings about Mona aside and comforts her brother. She takes the wise and mature route by helping her brother when he needed it most. Fans didn't get to see many moments between Mike and Aria that were positive and loving. It was comforting to see Aria really taking care of and listening to Mike rather than her just complaining or worrying about him.

Hanna And Ashley Retail Therapy

At the start of season three, viewers saw the girls coping with the realization of Mona being A. With attention being drawn to them more than ever, Hanna expresses her discomfort and is unable to relax. However, when Ashley offers to distract her with retail therapy, it's the first time viewers have seen Hanna smile in a while.

Seeing Hanna and Ashley joke around as they shop, brings a lighthearted and normal family moment to viewers. It is the exact way countless mothers would try to cheer up their daughters and it is great to see Hanna have a moment of normalcy in her life.

As Aria helps her mother pack up to move out, Ella finds small mementos from Aria's childhood. They share stories from when Aria was younger, which cheers them both up for a moment.

Even though Aria's parents are getting a divorce, Ella tells Aria that she has no regrets about her marriage. Although Aria and Ella's relationship wasn't what it used to be due to all the secrets they kept, this was a rare and honest moment between a mother and daughter showed how much they loved one another.

All Of The Mom's Bonding After Rescuing the Girls

One of the most memorable storylines of Pretty Little Liars is when the Liars' are being held in the Doll House in season six. It leads to all of the Liars' mothers bonding after they get rescued. They drink wine together as the girls have a makeshift prom in Spencer's backyard. Throughout their conversations, it is evident how much all of them care about their daughters.

The scene is a true testament to the love the girls have from their mothers - even if they don't realize it. The girls are constantly dodging threats and physical attacks since their first text from A, but despite any secrets and mistakes they've made, their mothers are always there for them.

Aria Gives Ella Fashion Advice For Her Date

Aria and her mother are able to maintain a loving relationship despite them living in separate homes. However, this has allowed fans a chance to see plenty of adorable moments, such as when Aria gives her mother dating advice. One of the sweetest moments is when Ella tells her about the first date she is going on since her divorce.

Ashley had always been supportive of Hanna and Caleb's relationship, especially after getting to know Caleb more in the earlier seasons. After they starting to see other people when they get older, Ashley is understandably on edge when Caleb wants to be a part of Hanna's life again.

Caleb makes his intentions clear and tells Ashley he wants to marry Hanna and she happily approves. This moment is one of happiness that both Ashley and Hanna deserve, especially after all of the drama they have been through throughout the series. Caleb's proposal makes the entire episode one fans love to re-watch when they miss Hanna and Caleb's adorable relationship.

Aria Officiating Byron and Ella's Wedding

Byron and Ella getting back together was an unexpected moment of the sixth season. Fans were excited to see the couple being able to put aside their differences and reunite after their split.

This moment is made even better when Aria is asked to officiate their wedding. The whole ceremony gets that more personal since it is their own daughter remarrying them. Aria has come so far from the resentment she held for her father after all of his mistakes in the past, so it was a meaningful gesture to see her agree to officiate their wedding. It was definitely one of the most heartwarming moments to feature on Pretty Little Liars.
