Once upon a time, a teen drama television show that was titled Pretty Little Liars came out, and its story centered around friends who were being taunted and tortured by someone called A. One of the main character’s names was Aria Montgomery, and this list is all about her best quotes

This girl was creative and artistic. She had a unique vibe, a very interesting and steamy relationship within the series, and she loved her friends and family in a big way. The lines of hers listed out down below cover all of this and more… so enjoy!

Worth Fighting For

Obviously, one of Aria’s major plot points involved Ezra, so it makes sense that this would be one of her best lines: “When you love someone, it's worth fighting for. No matter what the odds are.”

All of these girls had ups and downs when it came to love, especially Aria herself. However, they knew they were meant to be together, they never gave up, and they made it work in the end.

B*tch Can See!

Some of the drama of the series revolved around the main characters and Jenna… who they accidentally blinded. At one point, though, they realized that her sight had returned, and at that moment, Aria delivered this iconic quote: “Don't look at me. I'm ready to hang a sign 'B*tch can see!'”

There was never smooth sailing for this group, and that was doubly true for anything that had to do with Jenna. Lying and deceiving and snooping was sort of necessary for their lives, though, which just provided audiences with even more excitement.

In My Pants

Due to the nature of this thrilling tale, there were several wrecks, literal bumps in the road and trips to the hospital. Once, when it was stated that they thought they had been in an accident, this was Aria’s response: “Yeah, I did. In my pants!”

It was a short and sweet moment that ended quickly, but it stands out in a really funny and relatable way; many people cannot even begin to imagine what all these people went through… so it was surprising that there were not more accidents like that!

I Will Crush Your Scones

While the parents and siblings on this show were not the main focus, they were an important part of everything. Fans remember when Aria’s father and mother, Byron and Ella, split up and started dating new people. Ella began a relationship with Zach, who worked at The Brew, and this is what Aria told him: “For the record, if you hurt her, I will crush your scones.”

All the liars had their own set of strengths and quirks, and Aria could be as vibrant and wild as her clothes! Therefore, if the situation called for it, she was not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for her loved ones. Plus, the scones reference was perfect, given that coffee shop setting.

Friends Don't Let Friends Sneak Into Insane Asylums Alone

The next quote that is up is perfect for PLL: “Friends don't let friends sneak into insane asylums alone.” Do other shows feature places like Radley Sanitarium? Sure, but remember that on this particular show, everything always leads back to Radley.

From characters being admitted and finding out that their loved ones were there to the girls having to sneak in while trying to win the overall game/fight against A, this place was pretty popular. And yes, good friends would never let their pals go in alone.

It Comes Back To Bite You

As the title suggested, this television series centered around lies. They were told, and then more had to be told, thanks to A. It was a slippery slope yet sort of a necessity, and Aria summed it all up best: “There's a reason we just can't go around telling the truth... because it comes back to bite you… hard.”

If they lied, A became more involved. If they spoke up, A would retaliate. There was no winning until the final end game, when it was actually over, once and for all.

Let’s Not Care Together

As mentioned, Aria’s relationship with Ezra was complicated, to say the least. They tried time apart, a couple of times, but they wanted and needed to be together. Early on, this is what she had to say on the topic: “Look, we’re here now, and it’s just the two of us, and it feels good. So let's not care together.”

They knew it was dangerous, and they were aware that it may not work out. However, they were focused on the present and decided to not care together, soaking it all up in the best way possible.

I Don’t Give A Damn

On a similar note, another one of Aria’s best quotes was as follows: “I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks.” Of course, this could be applied to her love life.

It could easily apply to her sense of style, as she was done for mixing prints, wearing flashy earrings and putting color in her hair. No matter what she did, she was totally herself, and everyone loved her for that.

That Doesn’t Mean Your Friends Don’t Need You

Another huge part of Aria’s life, clearly, would have been her friends; these main characters were like family, and they went through so much together. Therefore, they really understood each other. So when Spencer was struggling, this is what Aria told her: “I know that you don't want a friend right now, but that doesn't mean your friends don't need you.”

This is so beautiful because everyone has moments when they just want to hide away from the world. But everyone has people that care for them, too, and Aria was letting Spenc know that she was needed and loved, no matter what.

I’m Me

pll finale

Last but not least, Aria spoke these words on Pretty Little Liars: “I'm me because of what has happened, what I've done and because of who I love.”

This is another statement about being and loving oneself, and these girls certainly had to practice that a lot. They didn’t always tell the truth, they sometimes hurt people close to them, and they took other’s lives. The fact that they accepted themselves and each other, though, was a testament to their strength, individually and as a sisterhood.
