The recently released Blockbuster movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero broke the box office record for best anime openings proving that Shonen is still the most influential anime category. With many highest-grossing titles like Naruto, Dragon Ball, and One Piece under its belt, Shonen is not losing its popularity anytime soon.

Anyone familiar with the genre knows that Shonen would be lacking without the unrivaled displays of strength by the main characters. Many of these powers are passed on through a lineage that eventually develops into a large, formidable clan. It's hard to put one over the other powerful families that Shonen has established.

The Zabi Family - Mobile Suit Gundam

The Zabi family rules the Principality of Zeon and is a prominent aristocratic sphenoid family. The family's leaders are Degwin Sodo Zabi and Naliss Zabi. Gihren, Sasro, Kycilia, Dozle, and Garma are the five children in the family. Zenna married Dozle and gave birth to the youngest member of the family, Mineva Lao Zabi. Glemy Toto and the sisters Alicia and Gloria Zabi are also presumed as Zabi family members.

All of Degwin's offspring hold prominent positions in Zeon's military and political systems. Prime Minister and Supreme Commander of Zeon was Gihren Zabi. Together, the family sought to rule the Earth Sphere by seizing control of the military, the media, the State Security Police, and all other public spheres.

The Hanma Family - Baki The Grappler

Baki The Grappler series has a strong cast of characters due to its emphasis on martial arts. However, the Hanma family stands out. The Hanmas are the most powerful in the series, even though there are only three known members: Yuujirou Hanma and his two sons, Jack and Baki.

Yuujirou is known as the strongest creature in history. Due to the numerous unbelievable feats he accomplished, he is equal to god in the martial arts world. The protagonist, Baki, is renowned as the Champion of the Tokyo Dome Underground Arena. To strengthen his physique, Jack used an experimental medicine x4, and he only managed to live because of his Hanma blood.

Vegeta's Family - Dragon Ball

Vegeta's Family combines Saiyan and human ancestry, also known as The Briefs from the human side. It starts with Dr. Brief and Bikini from the human side and King Vegeta from the Saiyan side. Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince of Planet Vegeta, is the strongest member of the family.

Tarble, Vegeta's brother, is a pure-blood Saiyan, albeit he is not particularly powerful. With the addition of his son Trunks and later Future Trunks from another reality, Vegeta's family gains strength. Future Trunks emerges as a powerful protagonist later in the series. Bulma is the most important female character in the story and a great scientist. Bulma has helped Vegeta become the strongest Z fighter multiple times.

Uzumaki Clan - Naruto

The Uzumakis are one of the main clans in the series and were formerly a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They are distant family relations of the Senju clan descending from Asura Otsutsuki. The main character, Naruto, also belongs to the Uzumaki Clan and is the current leader. Mito, Kushina, Boruto, Karin, Hinata, Himawari, and Ashina are further recognized, clan members.

The life forces of the Uzumaki Clan members are extraordinary from birth. They age slowly and have unnaturally long lifespans. Uzumakis have a rapid ability to heal both oneself and others by consuming their chakra. Naruto is the strongest person in the whole Naruto universe, let alone the clan, even though all Uzumakis have enormous inherited power.

Ackerman Clan - Attack On Titan

The experiments the Eldian Empire conducted with the Subjects of Ymir and Titan science led to the unintended development of Ackermans. As a bloodline of warriors, the Ackerman Clan guarded the monarch of Eldia. However, they were persecuted for rejecting Karl Fritz's ideology. Levi, Mikasa, and Kenny were the only clan members to survive.

The Ackermans have an awakened power activated by the instinct of survival. They are resistant to the Founding Titan's power. Without becoming a Titan or inheriting any of the Nine Titans, they can exhibit the power of the Titans. Two of the most likable characters in Attack on Titan, Levi was humanity's strongest soldier, and Mikasa was the best trainee in her class.

The Joestar Family - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Having a distinctive star-shaped birthmark over their left shoulder blade, the Joestars are a large family. Originally from England, the Joestar line today includes over 25 members who are a mix of English, Americans, Japanese, and Italians. The main Joestars featured in the series are Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke, Johnny, Giorno Giovanna, and Jolyne Cujo.

The Joestar family has ties to the paranormal. They are also predisposed to possessing supernatural powers. Ripple was used by the earlier Joestars, with Joseph being the last. Afterward, the family adopted the Stand practice and were all given strong Stand powers. The Joestar bloodline is wealthy and strong.

The Zoldyck Family - Hunter X Hunter

The Zoldyck Family is the deadliest and most famed family of assassins in the Hunter X Hunter universe. Their name alone can frighten and terrorize the underworld. The Zoldyck family has 10 members: Maha, the oldest living member, Zigg, Zeno, the current leader and Zeno's son, Silva, Silva's wife, Kikyo, the three sons Illumi, Milluki, and Killua, their sister Alluka, and the last sibling, Kalluto. The oldest child, Illumi, is an expert at disguising himself, while Milluki is a computer whiz and a skilled hacker.

One of the series' primary characters is the third son, Killua. He was sent to Heaven's Arena when he was just six years old. Everyone in the family possesses immense strength, resistance to poison, and intense electrical and painful stimuli. Their main line of work is assassination.

Uchiha Clan - Naruto

The Uchiha clan, the most powerful of Konohagakure's four noble families, is derived from the older of the Sage of the Six Paths' two sons. It creates shinobi that are incredibly gifted and battle-oriented. Indra Otsutsuki, the group's founder, and Fugaku, Madara, Izuna, Itachi, Sasuke, and Shisui, are among its more than 18 noteworthy members. However, Itachi took out the entire clan, leaving only three alive. The three remaining Uchihas were Itachi, Sasuke, and Obito alias Tobi.

The Sharingan, the Uchiha clan's Jutsu kekkei genkai, is what makes them so feared. They can sense chakra, cast a variety of genjutsu, and, most notably, copy an opponent's Jutsu using their Sharingan. Sasuke and Itachi grow to be the series' most important main characters with the best character arcs. The Uchiha clan is the strongest among the wide cast of Naruto.

The Monkey Family - One Piece

One Piece Is a legendary series featuring Monkey D. Luffy as the main protagonist. He is the leader of the notorious Straw Hat Pirates. The Monkey family is mighty and influential despite having only three members by lineage. Monkey D. Luffy, Monkey D. Dragon, and Monkey D. Garp are all part of it. Through the sakazuki ceremony, Portgas D. Ace and Sabo have been sworn as brothers to Luffy.

Monkey D. Garp is the strongest Marine and defeated Don Chinjao with just one blow. Luffy's two sworn brothers are equally strong men. Ace is the biological child of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, who led the Whitebeard Pirates' second division. Sabo is the chief of staff of the Revolutionary Army, ranked as the second best after Monkey D. Dragon.

The Son Family - Dragon Ball

The Son family is the most potent in the Dragon Ball Multiverse. Grandpa Gohan adopted little Goku, originally the son of Bardock and Gine, to begin the family tree. The notable Saiyan members of the Son family are Bardock, Raditz, Goku, Gohan, and Goten. Chi-Chi and Videl, two of the female members, are also skilled, martial artists.

Goku is the strongest Saiyan across the Dragon Ball Multiverse. However, Gohan and Goten carry on their tradition and repeatedly demonstrate their superhuman abilities. By defeating Cell after becoming Super Saiyan 2, Gohan ended the Cell storyline. Goten is much more capable than Goku and Gohan were at his age. He can become a Super Saiyan at just age seven.
